Very Small

I wear a 33 in everything, and 95% no issues. The 33 shorts I ordered in the Alpine Utility Short are more like a 32 or 31. The quality seems great. This was my first time trying Mountain Khakis, so not sure where to go from here. I suppose I will try a size 34.The 7" inseam also seem to have a very wide leg opening...my legs are not small. I notice the front page has a very high "fit as expected" rating, but now I see that many people say they run small. Wondering where I can vote on the fit. Must be made up. I use to rely on that graph, but not anymore.

Highly Recommended

Quality of fabric, fasteners, construction, and design are superb. Fit is outstanding through the hips and correct at waist--roomy leg allows for functional pockets, full range of motion, and gets you some air down there. Colors are excellent. 7" Length is ideal. Compared to the other big name in shorts like these, I think these are the better product for the same intended purpose. Do it all shorts ready for whatever kind of action you're getting into on land--well worth the price of admission.

Second pair of Men's MK shorts for my wife, she still likes them because of the good fit.

I wrote about buying my wife a pair of MK Teton Twill shorts in 28 inch waist, and how she liked the fit of the waist. Found a pair of MK Men's Alpine Utility shorts on sale and figured I was on a roll so I bought her a pair in 28 waist. Shorts arrived promptly, and same initial reaction to a good waist fit for her. After several washings and wearings she commented "fit is very good but the fabric is a bit stiff, length is very nice for hiking as it comes down to my knees", and she's okay with my choice of Pine color. But I was told not to buy any more shorts for her because while these are more than acceptable for utility they lack 'fashion'!

Love these shorts

Just like all my other Mountain Khakis short. Heavy duty, quality construction with top drawer quality control. Now if they would just stop making their stuff in China. I’m working on no purchasing anything made in China until the Chinese people overthrow their awful government.

Tough and comfortable!

I have only praise for these shorts. They are very comfortable with the right kinds of pockets in the right places! Love them.

Great quality.

Great quality short. Relaxed fit overall, but waist size fit small. The 33 fit like a very tight 32 when new. After stretching the waist band and wearing and washing several times, it now fits like a 33. I should have bought a 34 for my 33 waist..

Perfect length, great price, and they don't wrinkle

These are great casual shorts. I love the look of my husband in chubbies (5 inch inseam) but he has problems with his boxers being longer than his shorts. These are perfect. Still short enough to show off his legs (cargo shorts that go to the knee are just not my thing) but long enough that he doesn't have to wear briefs. These are also much more affordable than chubbies and they don't wrinkle. Pull these straight out of the dryer and you are ready to go.

these r a sturdy tightly woven twill that is truly an outdoor product. They have a slightly slimmer fit than other mountain products, but r still a good fit. I think this is a great company with great products.

Not very durable.

I had these shorts before and loved them. Despite the rugged look, these have not lasted well at all
