Best Knee Brace

I have tried many of the slip ons for a torn meniscus. They gave me some pain relief but not complete. This brace totally relieves pain when walking because it prevents lateral movement. It looks somewhat bulky but is quite comfortable. If you wear tight pants, then you need to wear it on top of pants. No odor from the material.

The knee cap hole tends to separate

This is the 2nd pair of knee braces I have bought ‘‘em. One has no hinges and one does. They both tend to separate on the top of the knee Home. Need to sew it better there!

Mueller Hinged vs. Mueller Non-Hinged knee brace

This is a recent purchase for the Mueller Hinged to accompany another Mueller non-hinged product that I have had for serveral years... not purchased here. I was looking for another of the same, but ended up buying this one from Amazon as they are almost a like, except for the hinges. My old non-hinged has provided very good support for my knee when it starts to ache and feels like I have parts loose in my knee. I have not seen a doctor about my condition, but find that if I have not been exercising such as riding a bike for a couple of months this problem shows up. So I go back at it and it clears up. What I like about this product is that it wraps around the knee rather than using a pull on sleeve type with no adjustment for how tight you might need it, which I have used many years ago when I went skiing. This type of hinged support seems to do the job just as good as the one without... maybe a bit better and it does help pervent hyper extending, which is a plus, however it does add a bit of width due to the hinges, but I don't see it being a problem so long as there is leg room if your wearing pants, in my cases I still have a non hinged. For those that have the occasional knee pain like I do, this wrap has been worked for me even know most of my experince has been with an older version without the hinges and I expect this one will do the job just as well. One tip that I find helps with comfort when you wear this for more than 8-10 hours is use an old tube sock by cutting the top off and and use the top by slipping this over the knee before putting on the brace. I would recomment this product for at least those that have a similar condition. Edit: I have used this hinged version a few times now for extended periods and maybe I have not broken it in yet, but I prefer my non-hinged version made by the same company over this one. Time may tell if this will improves or not.

Great support

My daughter has a complete acl tear and torn meniscus from playing volleyball. I bought this to stabilize her knee while we scheduled her Dr's appts. She likes the braces and says it helps hold her knee in place. It is comfortable and fits well.

good Item but keep in mind that some skin types maybe sensitive to it. My skin had some minor rashes the 4-5 first times that I wore it but I applied some cream and it was okay. As for its strength, it is a very good stablizers, does keep your knee in place and I recommend it.
