Keeps you warm

The one problem with them is that they add bulk to your feet in your shoes. So if there isn't extra room in your shoes then the fit is too tight

Don't fit into most shoes

These are nicely made and warm stockings but only really work for lounging around the house due to the thickness of the foot sock. It's basically impossible to get into a normal shoe or boot without bunching and being uncomfortable and looking funny. So if you need house stockings, go ahead, but if you want to wear them with boots or shoes, look for over the knee leg warmers instead.
