LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!

Finally, an artificial plant that looks exactly as pictured. I don't know what I was thinking when I ordered one from another company (are we allowed to say . . . it is the first merchant that comes up when you google) instead of coming straight to Amazon Marketplace. I received my silk English Ivy in two days (unlike the we-e-e-e-ks I waited for ahem), and it is perfect. It really does look like the photo. It is full, with full tendrils. You can manipulate the stems to arrange the plant (unlike the hard plastic stems from ahem), The basket is cute and properly proportioned. The twine for hanging bothered some reviewers, but I think it is just fine. I used a double S hook to lower the plant. Like many other reviewers, I wanted an artificial plant to solve a decor problem. I have many houseplants (and am a gardener), but the corner of the living room was a difficult place to grow a plant. Throughout the summer, when the sun is so low in the sky, I get a slice of sunlight across a corner of the living room. The direct sunlight is too much for a tropical plant to tolerate, although I had a bedraggled lipstick plant that just managed to survive there. It took me far to long to come up with this solution. And because I went to the wrong (it was SO wrong) ahem first, it took me far too long to get a lovely plant. You can rely on this 100 percent. The plant is gorgeous and the room looks much nicer for it.

Realistic Looking

These are quite realistic looking coming right out of the box. A couple of tendrils hang way down, so I cut them off and stuck them elsewhere in the styrofoam. They're very light, so I placed them in the coir planters I had my "real" plants in before they died and added some rocks to the basket they come in. Didn't really take much "fluffing". Up close I think you can tell they're "fake", but from the street or sidewalk they look real enough.

Nice Plant & Good Value

I bought this plant to replace a 10 year old hanging silk plant, which was getting discolored and very dusty, which is now going in the garbage. My old plant cost me about $60.00. The price on this plant was reasonable and looks good hanging by the middle window in the kitchen. I did trim back a few stems that I thought was hanging too low. It is a full plant and you can fluff it out. Yes some of the white Styrofoam was showing but if you are hanging it from a ceiling, you will be unable to see it. There is also some fake moss in the plant, so move the moss to cover up foam or you can buy fake moss at a craft store. Overall I am happy with the plant & my purchase.

Very realistic!

Extremely pleased with the look of these plants! I ordered two of these and plan on using them on my front porch. I don't have a green thumb and have given up on trying to keep plants alive. The price on these are very good as well. I shopped around a few of our local craft stores trying to see if I would be able to make my own instead of spending the money on having one made. I found a bunch of fake flowers that were very similar to these, found a basket to put them in, plus the styrophome , and actually had them ring it up and my total was $35 bucks! These were a little cheaper and already made a much bigger then the ones I had planned on making!! These are a very nice size as well!!

Well worth the price!

I was really delighted with the natural look of this lovely plant! It looks great in my living room. It's just as lush and full as it appeared in the photo. I'm looking forward to adding a companion plant in the near future. it's wonderful to be able to add to the ambiance in a room with the simple addition of some greenery.
