To make the latch mount screws just spin a drill bit in the head until a screwdriver wont function.

It worked perfectly on a grand child's treasure chest which needed a lockable latch.

Do not waste your money

The draw latches that I received were NOT National Hardware, some other brand that I have never heard of. The latches will not close enough to lock closed and so they are not secure. I have tried every trick to try and adjust the latches but no luck. And for the record, I am a professional woodworker/not some amateur hack. Cheapest Chinese junk I have seen in a long time, they will be replaced. Wish that I could give these latches negative stars.

Great Latch, Bad Screws

The latches are fine, but the screws they come with are junk, they twist off going into hardwood.

Tolerances are as expected, meh but they work. Easy to install in IKEA, remember to drill pilot holes
