The best on the market in my opinion..

I did research on the Tritan plastic that these water bottles are made from. It's a registered trade mark for a type of co polyester plastic that's manufactured by the Eastman Co. They have the safest food grade and medical grade plastics on the market. This plastic is not only BPA and BPS free there's also no chemicals in the plastic that can produce estrogen mimicking compounds according to their website. I also noticed there's not a plastic smell like my previous bottle. Of course, your olfactories might be more sensitive than mine.

A Much More Manageable Alternative to 5 Gallon Bottles

I am no longer able to lift the 5 gallon bottles. (45 lbs). This 3 gallon bottle is easy to lift. The quality is excellent. I would recommend this bottle as an alternative to the 5 gallon variety.

Very Happy

Very happy with this container. Manufacturer packed it very well with cap and safety seal included. Crumpled paper in box. Sends it to Amazon and Amazon ships it. Sturdy box. I've been told by previous manufacturer that BPA free containers are a little less strong but it's ok for me to avoid the BPA. It is only a container to use with your existing crock. Noticed at least one reviewer thought water was included. It is not. We tend to treat our BPA containers carefully. We find they last for years if they don't get dropped or slammed in car door. (Reason for 2 most recent purchases). Container seems sturdy and looks good on counter. If someone had given it to me as a gift I would have been very happy as it looks like somebody cared when they made it and when they packed it.

Mine does leak around the edge when placed on my ice maker. Very little leak when the jug is what I call burping.

Excellent Quality

New Wave Enviro 5 gallon water bottles have maintained there high quality. I have been using them for approximately 2 decades and the new ones I bought are still excellent.

Did Not last

I ordered these water bottles they were were expensive to get to Canada, the 5 gallon cracked on its own with no force, damage or unusual use. I did get just under a years worth of use out of it, but other bottles I have had lasted for many years. Not sure if I will buy a new one, will see if the company will honour a reduced rate or discount for replacement. Other than that they are just as other bottles and am pleased with them, expect have not found out where to get more lids as they are not the same as the standard lids for ones that arenot PBA free

Not Compatible with Standard Water Cooler Jug Lids

The top of this bottle isn't the proper size to fit the standard lids that need to be used to safely use with my water cooler. The blue lids that are used to fit into the water cooler won't fit this bottle so this bottle is basically useless for me to use with my water cooler. Would not recommend.

Durable construction

Installed a manual pump on top and placed the unit in our outdoor kitchen to have potable drinking water available.
