Finally I can start my day right!

I freaking love this thing! I had my eye on it for a while and finally my old coffee maker bit the dust- overnight shipping and I was sipping on perfectly brewed espresso! Had a great layer of crema and is very easy to use! I love the fact that I can also make a pot of coffee with the same device! I don’t hate the built in frother but I find it’s easier to just use my old hand held. Overall I am incredibly happy with this purchase and highly caffeinated!

Does not puncture espresso pod.

Overall I was pleased with this machine. Coffee always tasted great. However, the espresso pods would not puncture at the foil end. I had bought Belmio espresso pods. At first use, the machine kept telling me to add water. I finally realized it was because water was not passing through pod sufficiently. Thereafter, I used a pin to puncture multiple holes in the foil. Once I did that, it worked great. That's just not something I want to do though, every time I make an espresso. They recommend Nepresso brand pods (of course) which seem to work fine based on other reviews, but that shouldn't be the case. So, I returned mine and ordered a Ninja coffee maker only. I will find an espresso maker separately. I also want to mention, that when I returned my item the price had dropped to $199 from $250 (what I paid). I was only credited $199, which makes sense.

I love it

Ninja is one of my favorite brands. I always buy a ninja coffee maker when I need a new one and every time I get one it's an upgraded version. So to start off with I thought it was a lot bigger than what I got, but I'm not mad about it. My boyfriend got to try it out for a few weeks before I could and all he did was rant and rave how much he loved it. Now I'm back and finally got to try out the nespresso side and naturally I'm impressed! The only thing I didnt like about it is that it's a bit loud. However it doesn't bother me. All that really matters is how my coffee comes out and it came out fantastic!

Some of the grounds always get into the coffee - boils up and over the filter. Designed defect.

I love the concept of what I need, but for some reason no matter how much coffee I put in the hopper some of it always boils up and over the filter and gets into the coffee which really detracts from enjoyment of an otherwise lovely cup of coffee. Also, this would’ve been easier if it could use K cup style versus the specialty Nespresso pods but hey, I didn’t really think that through when I bought it.

Ninja coffee maker

2 months in- very pleased. Brews a good pot, having just a wire milk frother is brilliant, clean up is super easy. Expresso could be hotter, but for the money it hits the mark.

Has the bells and whistles without the high price tag

I love that I can make my own espresso every day with this, or a whole pot of coffee. Simple and easy to use. I only wish it worktops would grind the beans instead of taking a pod for espresso.

Great coffee/espresso maker

This is a great multi-use brew system. I think it’s a little overpriced but it’s the best one that has this level of functionality.

Happy so far

This is the first time I spent this kind of money on a coffee maker. My last coffee maker lasted 7 yrs and cost me $50. The only reason I got rid of it was that it was looking nasty and started to rust. So for this Ninja, everything seems to work. I am not one for the fancy coffee or expresso. I drink a lot of coffee and prefer it hot and strong. I use half cup of coffee for one cup of coffee. So for that purpose it works well. I am hoping to get the longevity out of it that I got out of my old cheap coffee maker. I will update this review in a few months.
