Everything about this little appliance is excellent!
We bought this when looking at replacements for a dying slow cooker. We wanted a slow cooker/pressure cooker. This wasn't that much more. Wow, what an amazing machine. It's replaced most oven cooking and cooking with cast iron skillets. It's just one step below grilling outside. We've cooked small whole chickens with it, burgers, bacon, lobster, shrimp, small steaks, various types of potatoes, and steamed vegetables. It is extremely versatile and does everything faster than most traditional methods. Even a meal that has to be cooked in stages due to the size of the unit takes less time than standard cooking methods. Cleaning is super easy. The main pot is the most stick resistant cookware we've ever used. Burned stuff just washes right off. The crisper plate is not quite as easy to clean, but we found spraying it with olive oil based non-stick spray makes it just as easy to clean. This thing does take some experimenting and getting used to. It's not hard to burn something beyond edibleness. But the learning curve is not too bad.

Not impressed
First thing to know. The top lid does not come off when using the pressure cooker feature. The top lid remains open forcing one to place it on a counter or table with a lot of clearance I mean a whole lot of high clearance. Second problem. The first use was to pressure cook a Mexican seasoned meal. The smell of the Mexican seasonings never came out. We soaked it for two days. We tried bleach. We were able to get it out enough to keep the item but it still lingers a bit. Due to sensitive smells we can't explain here we still notice it but we're dealing with it. Also the Ninja website has Saturday phone hours listed. NOT TRUE!! A company like Ninja should be up to date with hours of operation on the website. All in all not a product I recommend at all

Bought this just before Christmas as my Instapot was showing its age. First the item itself, this item is MUCH bigger than the Instapot pressure cooker. Seems its this way because it has an 'air fryer' built in as well. There is a very large lide on a hinge which you lift up (its very tall when fully opened so will not fit under counters when pressure cooking), then you put on the high pressure lid which is pretty much just like Instapots. All this makes the item very bulky and definately has a bigger storage footprint than other pressure cookers. Okay, that part aside, as far as cooking went food came out fine.....the one feature I had always wished the Instapot had but didnt was you could not set the 'keep warm' feature to not come on when its done cooking. This one is the same way and I hate that, I cant always be there the first few minutes after its done and sometimes its 40 mins to an hour before I can get to it. This would not be a problem if the keep warm feature was not on, the problem is it keeps cooking the food and it gets dried out and over cooked. Okay now for the part where it stopped working. Worked for about 7 weeks then when I plugged it in and set the settings for the dog food I was making it worked fine but when I came back a few minutes later the entire unit was off, discovered it could no longer power on. Unplugged it for a couple hours and tried again, nothing. UPDATE - Called Ninja customer service and they were absolutely fantastic. They had me do a video call so they could see the unit and I went through plugging it in, etc so they could see it wouldn't power at all. They are sending me a new base unit to replace the defective one, and since I had just bought it a few weeks prior they waived the shipping fee (around 25 bucks) which I was just really great to hear. Knowing they back their products like this gives me a ton of confidence in purchasing as a consumer. Really made my day a little brighter :)

great working air fryer
air fryer works great with that big pot that holds the crispy plate pot cleans so easy, and i used th pressure cooker with the wire rack to hard boil eggs and they came out great,

Versatile
I use the air fryer to quickly heat frozen fish sticks and reheat pizza. I also use it to reheat salmon and brown potatoes. The sous vide function works great on turkey and beef. The pressure cooker makes perfect rice/risotto in 10 minutes (+ warmup pressurization time). My favorite recipe is to pressure cook sliced potatoes 10 minutes in the Foodi, sauté them on the stove for 2 minutes per side, then finish them off in the Foodi air fryer. The downside is that it is a rather large appliance, but it is well worth the counter space for the versatility.

My favorite kitchen device
I just LOOOOVE my ninja foodi. It’s very easy to work with and you can clean it easily. I am using it everyday and I just love working with it. Made my life so easy. I made the most tender inside crispy outside ribs that I have eaten in my whole life with it in 35 minutes. It is already my favorite device in the kitchen and like they say “ninja never disappoints “. I am so glad I have bought it. Highly recommended.

i get the right one
for over a month using,I know I get the right one,this is the one you cook that will not let 15A breaker trip for 2-3 person is enough,size is nice not that too much big.so...just like it.the air fry is so nice.
