Adorable Gift, NOT squirrel proof

I bought this as a gift for my mother - twice! The first one lasted for years but thr squirrels put it through quite a beating by chewing plastic and jumping on it (I think her squirrels may be mutants, I don't know) so I got her a replacement. These feeders are ADORABLE. They are filled through the chimney so a funnel might be helpful to avoid a mess, and chupmunks fit PERFECTLY in the little feeding tray as we found out. Her mutant squirrels hang from the hanging wire by their back feet and lay along the roof on their bellies to reach into the tray and stuff their furry little faces. When it isn't being bombarded by squirrels and chipmunks, the songbirds eat from it with ease. Larger birds like woodpeckers, eastern bluebirds, and mourning dovds may not be able to get into this style as easily so if you're trying to attract larger birds you may want additional feeders of a different style around.

The best bargain on bird feeders

I was skeptical due to the low price, but upon reading the other reviews, I decided to risk it. I’m glad I did. Can I tell you that this bird feeder is just too cute for words. It’s the best bargain on bird feeders around! Tip: you will need a funnel to fill through the chimney or else you’ll have birdseed everywhere.

Super cute birdhouse, but watch for the squirrels!

Very well built! Super adorable! I love this brand and all the feeders they have to offer. If you live near an area like me with a good squirrel population, watch out! Squirrels are on my feeder just as much as the birds and knocks the food off. My feeder needed to be refilled in 5 days.

Bird house!

Love, Love, Love this bird house! I like that the bird food is filled through the chimney! The chimney is a nice size to fit multiple size bird food and it has a cap to keep any ran out! The bird are happy and that makes me happy!!

Barn feeder

This bird feeder is super well built heavy duty plastic will withstand the weather no problem and holds a good about of seed and the price is very responsible and barn detaches from base for easy cleaning.

Cute whimsical as well as practical

This is a nice and well made bird feeder. The only difficulty is filling it through the chimney, nice idea but small opening. Still looks really nice in the yard. Birds are enjoying it.

Cute but sadly overpriced

Well i must say i was disappointed when i opened the box to see this feeder just sitting there unwrapped. It came in rough shape so quality control must have been on holidays. The plastic corners are pulling away from the structure as are both doors. I cant get imagine what the sun will do. The white plastic looks dirty not very bright, around the windows it is very evident, see photo. The tower with all the glass windows well they are scratched all up. Very messy. This quality is reminiscent of a $25 feeder. Not anymore than that. Will update as the Sun does its magic :)

Hit or miss

We own several North States birdfeeders. While they look awesome, the plastic tabs that keep the body and the bottom together easily break during shipping. Hit or miss situation. Ours arrived with two out of four tabs missing. Found them in the box. It was intended to be a holiday gift and I am working hard now trying to glue the broken tabs to the base...

Awesome!!

I love this birdfeeder!! I actually decided to sit it on the corner railing of my step (I have it wired down of course so it doesn't blow or fall off) and the birds, squirrels and chipmunks all enjoy feasting from it! Having it on the step makes it easy to fill in the winter when I can't be climbing ladders to fill the feeders in the trees and yet the birds and whatnot still get some help with food in the cold Atlantic winter! It has withstood the winter and is still in perfect shape and even the top stayed on in gale force winds plus I just love the look of it so I would highly recommend it!!!

Fabulous Product!

This product ranks as one of my best ever purchased. I use it to feed the blue jays with shelled peanuts bird food. Each bag is 2 kg., or 4.41 lbs., and one fits perfectly just to the windows of the bird feeder, so there is still light coming through. The mouth to fill the feeder is a perfect size and allows for no spillage, as do the vents all around the top. The base which allows for the peanuts to come out also provides a good support for the birds (who found the feeder within 5 minutes). Excellent design, and also, made in the USA...you can absolutely see this. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Dispense Enough?

I just mount this feed a few weeks back. I purchased awhile ago for use as my main yard feeder. I am finding that using a All Birdie seed with a mixed of small seeds and sunflowers it seems to bind up slightly when the sunflower seeds are trying to come through the bottom slot. I do have go out a periodically use something to fish out the sunflower seeds so it can distribute all the seed properly. In conclusion this unit looks appealing and is wonderful for small seeds but I am now on a search for a different main feeder that will distribute the All Bird seed properly. No lost as I will hang this one in a tree.
