Took a chance....and loved this

When I ordered this, I knew I wanted a tank top rash guard. I wasn't really sure whether or not I would like this, but I went ahead and took a chance on it. We've been living in Santa Teresa Costa Rica for the last month. I brought three rash guards with me, and it turns out that I love this O'Neill tank top rash guard so much, it's about the only one of the three I regularly use.

I put this on to hide my big belly!

Why was I surprised when it didn't? A friend said the shirt couldn't perform miracles. I thought it just might. But it did what it's supposed to. It dried really fast, prevented sunburn to the parts it covered and its design doesn't draw attention to you. Or me. I'm an old dude and get the impression people are happier seeing me covered. When I was a young dude I didn't need anything to hide my torso. (Yeh, sure!).

Runs small

I like this shirt - lightweight, cool, dries quickly (I wore on and off recently on a beach trip). I ordered a size larger than normal so it would not be 'body hugging' (who wants that in heat and humidity?!) and I'm glad I did. I think by ordering one size up from what I normally would, it fit very well.

Good, but probably not for tiny people

I bought this because I’m not entirely comfortable taking off my shirt at the beach and also because I’m hella pale and I’m doing a lot of snorkeling. It fits a little big on me, i ordered a small and I’m 5’5” and 135lbs. I got a slight sunburn on my shoulders, but that was mostly my fault and not the shirts.

Great shirt. Slate color is nicer in person than in the photo

Im 5’11” 175lb and the medium size fits perfectly. The slate color is a dark gray, not black, and the photo makes it look black. The color is really nice and the fit is comfortable. I love these shirts because I will get sick if I get too much exposure to the sun. This sun protection is exactly what I need. The weight of the shirt is light and it dries quickly.

Cut small and not black

Cut very small. I’m comfortably an XL in most shirts and this is on the tight side in 2XL. Colour is also nothing like the picture. The “black” is at best charcoal. It is very clearly a dark grey rather than black. Beyond that - it is light and stretchy. But overall very disappointing. Returned.
