Good for tropical climes
I got this to wear over a bathing suit when swimming and snorkeling near the equator, both to keep off the sun and to keep a wet suit from rubbing. It worked just fine. Note that this shirt tends to run a bit small. It's nice and stretchy but any "figure flaws" you may have are going to be on full display. The colors are also BRIGHT (which I didn't mind, it was after all the topics).

Runs very small
I typically wear a L or XL for a looser fit. Based on reviews I opted for the XL and it’s super snug. This XL fits like a M. The sleeves are pretty long, like it’s made for someone 5’7” and up that has a longer thinner torso. The quality is good with thick stretchy fabric that would protect from sun damage.

Fits as expected, but...
I'll just start by saying that there is nothing wrong with this rashguard at all, I just didn't love how tight it was. Yes, it's supposed to be tight... but this was uncomfortable, I cant imagine being active in this thing. So, I ordered a medium. I'm 5'6", 140lbs, athletic-ish build so, I have a big ol ribcage and (in my opinion) broad shoulders. I'm also a 34D which doesn't help my big cage or broad shoulders. Anywho, after reading the reviews, I figured I would give it a shot. I'm not disappointed at all, the material is nice, and its SPF 50 (bonus). Now, here is what I did. I also purchased the men's version of this in a small, and I am so thankful that I did so I have something to compare this to. As you can see from the photos, the women's version is smaller, but not by much. The waist is about the same, but the chest is slightly larger, the arms are longer, the torso is longer, AND it has a small collar that comes up a little. I LOVE ALL OF THOSE THINGS! For someone like me that wants a tight fight, but doesn't want to sacrifice comfort... this is the route to go. So, in summary... if you're worried about torso length, arm length, or it you have a little bit of larger chest/ribcage... do what I did and go buy the men's version.

Great purchase
This is a really good rash guard. I usually wear a medium (I'm 36D-DD), sometimes a large, but I decided to keep the large. The medium was too tight at the shoulders and elbows to be comfortable for swimming. The medium wasn't that tight through the chest, it has a lot of stretch. The fabric is a nice weight and seems like high quality. It has side seaming which pulls the waist in a bit. The pink was a really nice true, bright fuchsia, it looks more purple in some of the pictures then in person. I took off one star because I often wear petite (I'm 5'2") and the sleeves are a little long, but not too bad. I wear a lightly padded tankini top underneath for support and modesty. I'm not crazy about wearing branded products, I always feel like they should pay me an advertising fee. But I will say that the printing is nicely done, not that big, and gives interest to what would otherwise be a plain front. I didn't find it to hard to remove when wet, but I did allow it to dry a little first. The neckline isn't that high, just enough to give coverage from the sun. I would prefer a partial or full zipper so I could adjust for comfort, and for ease of getting on and off. Only having worn it once, I can't speak to how it will wear. Love that is has an SPF 50 built in. Not sure how long the SPF will last, but the fabric is thick enough for sun protection either way. Overall I would say this is a great product, and I would consider getting one in another color.

Long sleeves are a MUST for surfing newbies! This rash guard is perfect!
My husband and I took surf lessons in Cancun a few years ago and I bought a rash guard of a different name brand with half sleeves (just above the elbow). The whole time I found myself wishing I had bought a long sleeved one instead. When you're paddling, the place where your arm meets the board is where a majority of the friction occurs and with the salt water is got to be torture after an hour or so. If you are searching for a rash guard for the purposes of surfing, I cannot recommend buying long sleeves enough!! My husband and I are going surfing again in Hawaii next month and I didn't want a repeat of Mexico so I bought this. First I was very pleased to find that the medium actually fit me really well! In the other name brand I had to send back two and size WAY up before I got one that fit, and even then it was pretty tight. I am small chested with a long torso, broad shoulders, hourglass waist and disproportionately large hips. I normally wear size medium in tops so I was very pleased to find that this was true to size and extremely comfortable! It's also long enough in the arms and torso which is something I struggle with in tops in general. The quality is very good and it looks cool on. I used it last weekend while white water rafting the snake river and it was perfect! It dries very fast and isn't too hot even though it's black and long sleeved and I find this one doesn't roll up at the bottom on me like my other one did. I highly recommend for outdoor adventure women!

Good product. Go about a size up
Love it!! Feels tight but not constricting and the material what I was looking for. Like the other reviews said, a size up or two is better. For example, I’m 5’2, 120 pounds with a 27 waist, slightly large shoulders and I bought a medium which fits snugly! Small would have been way too tight but large too loose.

Keeps me warm in the pool
I absolutely LOVE this shirt! I wear a small but ordered a medium just 'in case'....It fit PERFECT, kept me warm and it is extremely comfortable in the water....Trust O'neill as I will from now on! Highly recommend!

Buena calidad pero talla reducida
Este fue un regalo para una mujer de 1.58 cm y 52 kg, y aunque le queda bien la talla CH y solo si quiere algo holgado se va por la talla M, solicite la talla M y le entró muy justa hasta le tuve q ayudar, por lo que hubiera preferido talla G para que no le quedará tan justa, lo malo que la M era la del descuento.
