Great, but run small and don't fully cover heel.

I asked questions before I bought these. I wear a size 7 and it was suggested I order an 8, which I did. I’m glad because the seven definitely would’ve been too small even without sicks. I also asked if it covers the heel. One person said yes it does. The other person said it’s 1 1/2” up from the sole. I got them today and with socks on, they fit. But when I walk, my big toe still hits the front of the toebox. They’re extremely comfortable, and very well-made. They are real suede, very nice, and the sheepskin is soft, very warm and cozy. However, I’m not sure if I’m going to keep them, because it only covers part of the heel, like a scuff. It does not cover the entire heel. So it flips when I walk. Update: I will be returning these because with socks on or not, my toes are being forced into toe box when I walk. I'm afraid to order a 9, because then they'd be too big. I ended up buying Overland Terra suede with sheepskin. Please offer these with full heel coverage and maybe that would help your sizing issues.

Perfect

I was concerned that they would run small, but they fit just right. High quality with a lot of support. They make me 2 inches taller. Order half size up like UGGs because of the sheepskin if you want to, but then they might slip since they have a very low back. I wear an 8 in most shoes like Nikes and addidas trainers, and these are also an 8 and fit perfectly. I love that they are real fur and leather. They seem durable for outdoors but I got them for house shoes

Old Friends are my new BFFs

I am sooo happy with these slippers. I feel like I dreamed them up in my head. I will say that I had to send the first pair back for two reasons. I wear an 81/2 shoe, and it is recommended one order larger with this particular slipper. So I ordered a 9. They came, and the first thing I noticed were spots on the top of the slippers, on the suede, as if someone had dropped liquid on them before returning. I took one out to try for size, and my toes were slammed up against the end. So I packaged them back up and returned. Requested a 10, worrying they would be too big. Got the new ones I'm sure before they received my returns.They looked brand new and beautiful. I put them on, and though they were a bit roomy, I liked them. I wear socks! At a size and a half up, they slip a teeny bit in the back, but they are slippers and I don't mind at all. I wanted a slipper that had a grippy bottom and something of a heel, as I had just slipped down the stairs in my old UGGS slippers and landed on my butt. No flat bottomed slippers for me! That was scary. So I am elated with these slippers and they are my new best friends. Beautifully made, by the way.

Very shoe like so perfect for all day wear

I had the snowbird 1 for many years. Wore them everyday during pandemic and they finally wore out. Got snowbird 2 to replace in same size - 8. Too small. Got 9 - perfect. No smell as one reviewer mentioned and the bottoms are seriously shoe-like and heavy. Which I need for support when wearing all day. These are like wearing shoes but looser and more comfy. Can go outdoors easily in them whether wet out or not. Really like them.

Shorter footbed than last iteration

I've had a pair of these Snowbirds for years and have literally worn holes through the very substantial sole. My original pair were L8 (Ladies' 8, I presume). I ordered the new pair in "8" and the footbed is dramatically shorter. I know shearling feels tight when you first put it on, but this is the physical structure of the shoe -- my toes simply scrunched up against the toe box. They have to go back, and I'm reluctant to try 9s because my foot is narrow & the added width will make them too big. Bummer. These have truly been Old Friends ...

Super winter shoes!

These run a bit small, given that there is shearling inside the entire shoe, which will give a little with wearing, giving you more room. But these were too short, I could feel the end of the shoe with my toes, so exchanging for a larger size. But oh my! They are so nice! Such lovely sheepskin to keep your feet warm. These have a nice outdoor shoe bottom, so I know I'll be wearing these to run errands. Snowbirds make a delightful winter everyday shoe. FYI, this is my second pair of old friend shoes, I wore my first pair for several years. They were very comfortable and sturdy. I finally had to give them up because I wore a hole in the sole after many many years of winter use. I looked and looked for a replacement from old friends and they finally came out with this shoe. Thanks, old friend!

Great concept poorly executed

I have been searching for the perfect shearling house shoe/slipper forever. I was excited to come across this but as I type they are on my feet just barely. I am between a 6.5 and 7 shoe US size. I ordered an 8 because that was all they had left. The perfect size in this slipper would have been a 8.5 US because this slipper is short from the heel to the toe box yet all else seems to follow the normal sizing. So in US sizes you should order a full size and a half larger. They are not fully shearling either, there is a faux fur inside....misleading. The traction of the bottom gets an A++ as well as the arch support. I like that you can pull out the insole and add your own or even add your own and put the memory foam insole that it came with on top of that. Also, the shoes heal only goes a little ways up the back of your foot (to me that is very annoying) I wish that the heal came up the back like a normal shoe as this helps keep the slipper on your feet. I am hoping that they give this slipper a makeover because it has potential to be "the ultimate house shoe."

These slippers keep my feet toasty warm which is the whole reason I bought them. I found the slipper to be a bit short (front to back) at first but worried that going up a size would be too much (they were only offered in whole sizes, no 1/2 sizes). After wearing them around the house and having the lining compress a bit I'm glad that I didn't exchange for a larger size. The lamb fleece is very warm and comfortable and the sole traction when outside has been good.

I had to reorder one size larger to get this right size.

I haven't enough good to say about these slippers. It is my second pair. My first pair is so old I can't remember how old they are! (20+for sure). These slippers are hypoallergenic. I am chemically sensitive and I put them on and wore them for hours the very first wear. Love them. Warm. Comfortable. Good sole. Easy to walk in. Crudos to all involved.
