Works fine easy to clean
I purchased this to cut on gas cost from stove which we don't use anymore. It sits perfectly on main stove. We already saw a difference in light bill, although the " fees" out cost any actual use of gas usage. As for this stove top, it's very nice looking, two sides which function & heats fast slow for boiling like 2-5 minutes. It does have a slight smoky scent sometimes but doesn't last long maybe 1-2 minutes. It's cast iron but upon a few uses the top left appears to show wear already ( coating). It's easy to clean up but you have to be careful to do so after appliance "cools" down because it stays hot. I usually turn off about 5 minutes before I am done cooking as it stays hot & I allow it to finish off my cooking like that. In cleaning: the button grade numbers on left side faded already so I have to figure the heat seating ( about a month after). It has heat settings and (dots) to keep as warmer. I like the size for pots resting on both sides. Just be careful what & how you clean so that you don't over scrub it and don't realize the imprinted number can fade with use. We don't cook all the time but works fine, can be stored, thick cord it's saving us money on light bill, the gas stove was costly but only be used for like turkey and larger baking for holidays. Arrived fine, but you need to learn to get familiar with the grading on heating, once you know your good to go.

Works well for us.
We needed to replace the one that went out in our RV trailer. This one is higher off the stove and seems to have more room between when I put two pans on. Takes some getting used to using the knob to control temp because our old one was more str8 forward that said low to high on the dial which was simple but this is a bit more confusing cause #2 seems to just warm food #3 is still boiling and the dots not sure that they do yet. But other than that Im able to cook food the water takes a while to boil and only having it about a month or so the numbers on the dail are already rubbing off. ???? **** Update*** the smaller eye doesn't seem to do more than warm when using both eyes. I'm so over this purchase.

Burners rust with slightest bit of water
It works great, gets plenty hot enough, and had larger burners than the last one I had. I've only had it for a short while, so I don't know how long it will last yet - I will update this review when it starts having issues. It loses a star because the burners rust pretty quickly. I make a pot of tea several times a day, and the pot is washed and not dried, so yes, there are some drops of water on the bottom most times. The electric burners I've had before this never had this issue, not sure why this one rusts so much, but you can tell which burner I use most from the picture.

This seems to be a great product. I had to return it because most of my pans and pots were too big for the burner.

God Value for Price
Good backup for when the range dies--especially for folk like me...with little money. And ain't that like many of us in these trying times? Bought another for when this one goes out. Wish the temp could go somewhat higher, but it's good enough for general cooking.

It heats up fast
The only thing I don't like is that this item wobbles. It doesn't sit flat on the counter which could cause spillage if you have a pot full of water.

Space Saving & Extra Hot
It does take about three minutes to get hot enough to fry an egg. But it also takes longer to completely cool down. This thing gets super hot. I have also noticed the cast iron plates will quickly get rust spots if you don't wipe off water or steam droplets. I don't have a stove so this is great. It doesn't take up much space & stores easily.

Works well
This hot plate worked well for my needs. Heats up quickly and love the covered cook area pans sit on. Don’t have a gas grill and have used this for cooking on my deck when only cooking for two.
