Nice whisk

Needed a silicone whisk to use in non-stick pans. This one works perfectly. It's comfortable and works well to mix sauces. I haven't used it in any stiff batters, but it seems pretty strong. Because it's silicone, cleanup is really easy.

Yes it's a silicone whisk. I much prefer it because it doesn't make a grating sound when used in a metal pot. Also safer for nonstick pans.

Great little whisk!

I've come to like OXO products in general over the years, so expected this to be a good whisk when I bought it. It hasn't disappointed and has become a well used kitchen tool. It's built well, it won't scratch pans, is easy to clean, and purposely small. This is a great whisk for beating a few eggs at a time for individual omelets. I like it and I'd buy it again.

Silicone whisks are always gonna split

As far as silicone whisks go, it’s the best one. I had the 11” and eventually the coating split on a few loops and it needed replacement. This is just how these coated whisks behave. Some day the friction against the pot or the dishwasher basket will open a crack in the silicone. I bought the 9” and honestly I like the handle shape a bit better than the longer one. It’s a bit short for use in a big Dutch oven but it works for the rest of our pots and pans. Get the larger one if you need deep reach. Irked that I will eventually have to replace this too, but silicone isn’t indestructible and bare steel scratches up enameled or nonstick pots.

Handle is to heavy

Maybe this is preference, but I hate that I can’t rest this whisk without the weight of the handle flipping it out of the bowl I’m using. Other than that - great for my non stick pans. Wouldn’t buy again though.

Completely worth it

UPDATE 2: the first one I bought lasted 2 years. The second one lasted 10 months before it snapped. I am very rough on my kitchen utensils, and I send all of them through the dishwasher at least a few times a week. I still stand by my original review; this whisk is the best I've ever used. It's completely worth the buy. And I already have my next one in the mail. Update: I've been using this for about a year and a half, and it looks just the same as when I bought it. The coating hasn't started peeling of, the wires haven't budged. And I use this thing almost every day. I honestly expect it to last at least a couple more years. ORIGINAL: I love these. I have the un-coated version I use for baking all the time. I needed a coated whisk for cooking in my Teflon pans. These ones can really take a beating, no pun intended. I dont have to deal with water getting trapped in the handle, or the wires getting pulled out like every other whisk I've bought. The price is totally worth it, and I will most definitely buy this brand again.

Smaller than I thought it would be, but it works well!

I've been pretty happy with this wisk. It's easy to clean, comfortable to hold, and the siliconed wires are durable. It's difficult to really know the size of an item when you buy online. I thought that the wisk part was going to be wider than it turned out to be. That was a slight disappointment for me. That said, I've been pretty happy with this wisk. The only other negative I can find would be that a wire pulled out when cleaning it once. It went back in easily enough, but I don't like that it popped out.

Great replacement for a metal whisk that won’t scratch your cookware

I bought this for whisking sauces in enameled and non-stick pots and pans. This is the best silicone whisk I’ve seen - it compares well to metal whisks in terms of stiffness and tight spacing between wires at the top. So far it’s functioned as well as any of my metal whisks, and I don’t have to worry about wrecking my Le Creuset cookware.

Flat like a pancake

The product itself is fantastic .. the way Amazon packaged it .. not so.. It arrived in a bag. Instead of a whisk.. we got an leaky spoon instead.. Bro, you gotta step up the package game!
