The best ever

Let’s just say that I liked this pan so much, that I bought another to keep as a backup! How has it proven itself to me? I like to preheat my pan in the morning, and have been known to get distracted and forget the burner is on until I smell the pan burning. On a different pan, the non-stick coating started to bubble up a bit. This was to replace that pan, and it has survived two more instances of me forgetting. Zero issues with non stick and still works like the day I bought it I did by the medium size pan (think it was 10”) to match the smaller one I use for eggs, but the sides are too low. With the incredible non stick coating, items seem to slip right up over the edge of the pan when trying to get a spatula under….

Really enjoying it so far

I am enjoying using the product. The non-stick surface actually doesn't stick. The quality seems good. It's only been a little over a month so not sure how long it will last but so far so good. The handle stays cool at the end but is hot close to the pan. It's easy to clean and looks good.

Best non-stick pans ever

Within the past year, I have bought 5 of these pans. I own/have owned Swiss Diamond, Le Creuset, Cuisinart and Calphalon pans and skillets with some costing 8-10 times more than the OXO. I find the OXO cookware superior to all and they will be all I will buy in the future.

Great pan

This pan has been fantastic. It has a very good coating, that is truly nonstick. Time will tell if it is truly durable or not, but the construction is solid, and feels like it is built to last!

Great for eggs!

Bought this mainly for 3-egg omelettes as my current 12-inch non-stick pan does not work well for that. Based this purchase on the review in America’s Test Kitchen. Very happy with it so far, absolutely non-stick. My twelve-inch pan (an top ATK pick about 10 years ago) is getting ready to need replacement, and I’ll purchase another OXO pan then.

They last about one year

Unfortunately, they only last about one year, even with very careful use and cleaning. But this has always been the case with non-stick skillets. I'm buying another 8" Oxo skillet, exactly one year later, as there is no better brand and I do like Oxo. I just hope the non-stick coating is safe for humans to use over and over again. It seems like most brands like to stretch the truth on this. It does perform well over one year and then things start to stick. I wash by hand and don't use metal utensils. I guess we can't expect non-stick coatings to be long-term durable.

nice build quality

well made pan, very nonstick, and easy to clean. as long you use soft utensils like wood or silicon, do not scour with very abrasive sponges, and don't blast it on max heat, it will probably remain durable for years. it's not cast iron after all; have to be slightly careful.
