Works well removing chlorine smell

Love this size.

This is a perfect size for a clarifier. I have fine hair and the shampoo does a great job of resetting my hair for the hydrating curly products I’m obsessed with. It strips my hair of the impurities without leaving it frizzy. I only used it once and anticipate using it every 6 months so I’m thankful for the small size I purchased.

Use to remove chlorine with nice scent

I've used this shampoo for years when I am swimming regularly. It works well and has a nice scent. It leaves my hair nice. I hate the typical odor of swimmer shampoo, so have always appreciated this wonderful product remains available.

If you have blond hair and swim a lot, this is a great shampoo for chlorine removal. I have been using it for years.

Does it really moisturize?

I still had to use a backup moisturizer as this only clarified and washed chlorine out of my hair.

Clarifying Shampoo!

I think one of the best I have ever used! I have natural white / silver hair and every now and then I need to remove the hair products. It lathers nice and really cleans your hair squeaky clean. All to start all over again with all of the hair products build up ????. But this is the sure fix????

Like an eraser for hair gunk

I'm currently six months into the process of letting my natural hair grow out from years of processing. I often use a co-wash instead of shampoo to keep my hair from becoming overly frizzy, but that also weighs down the hair with extra oils. I also have to deal with hard mineral-laden water that tends to give my hair brassy tones which I combat with purple shampoos. When styling my hair I add mousse and finishing sprays, and all of these things can add up to making my hair coated and unable to absorb moisture to keep frizz at bay! This is where this product comes in. Paul Mitchell Shampoo Three is a clarifying shampoo. It cleans your hair of "gunk" deposits, erasing the crud that's accumulated on your scalp and hair, giving you a renewed palate to deep condition and style as desired. I have used this product once and I love the way it works! It takes very little of it to get a good lather going. After gently agitating the shampoo through my hair and on my scalp I rinsed my head well. The product didn't leave my hair feeling smooth, but it did make it feel clean. I then followed the cleansing with a deep conditioner for five minutes and then rinsed. I used a leave-in conditioner and some mousse to produce a smooth, easy to manage style that felt soft to the touch. The thing is, I have naturally curly hair that tends to be frizzy due to lack of hydration being retained no matter what I put on it. This product wiped away the stuff that was not allowing my hair to absorb the moisture offered by the conditioners and produced a great hair day. I definitely recommend this product, but not to be used every day unless your lifestyle assaults your hair with chlorine or similar each day. I'm very happy to have found this product and I think it is a wonderful option for deep cleansing without stripping your hair.

Good at cleansing, a little drying

I have curly, greying hair and use this perhaps once a month (maybe twice) as a good clarifying/chelating wash. I find it really cleans the hair and keeps the colour fresh. As my hair is graying (with lots of white around the front) some shampoos seem to build up and the white isn't so 'white'. Using this occasionally keeps the white 'white'. I wouldn't use it very often as it's a little drying (I will use this then a conditioning treatment which works out really well). I note it's advertised for swimmers as it's supposedly good at removing chlorine, which I can't comment on but I would be interested to know if others (e.g. frequent swimmers) can use this more often without the dryness.

Excellent.

Have used Paul Mitchells Clarifying Shampoo Three for approx. 20yrs, its the best for getting cholerine out of your hair (to prevent the dreaded green tinge on blondes) or even product build up. I use it once every other day when on a beach holiday or once a month at home for general getting rid of build up. I have a sensitive scalp and had never a problem using it. Hope this review helps but remember everyone is different.

Reluctant buy BUT So worth it!

This is a type of shampoo that you only need to use every 2 months to remove mineral and other build up in your hair. My usual (cheaper) one was not available, so I bought this more expensive one. OMG, it was so good, my hair got a very very good cleanse and you only need a small amount and max 2 washes at a time. It will last for months and months. An excellent find, am so glad I bought this for my hair.

Well worth the money for regular swimmers

So far so brilliant! Going swimming twice a week was destroying my hair and it was just staying sticky and not manageable at all. I've used this twice now and it's made an enormous difference. My hair is now much softer, cleaner and completely manageable. It doesn't have the sticky feeling anymore and I can style it. Well worth the more expensive price tag.

Excellent shampoo for swimming

Excellent shampoo - I swim daily so my hair became quite straw like using regular shampoos but since using this my hair is soft again. I also use palmers spray in conditioner before I get in the water so between the two they have improved my hair.
