Did not meet expectations

I purchased this product assuming it would be of high quality, because of the Peugeot name. The product material is high quality, with a stainless steel top and hardwood base. My disappointment is with the grinding mechanism. It is difficult to set the grind coarseness and have it stay at that setting. The setting tends to loosen as you use the grinder.

Mom loves them.

Bought these for my mom as a gift. She LOVES them. Instead of cracked pepper it's more like pepper shavings. She likes that because it seems you have better control of the flavoring. She put Himalayan pink salt in the other grinder and it works great too! Overall great purchase.

THEY DON'T WORK

Ridiculous. just don't work. give out so little salt and pepper that you have to grind for an hour to season your eggs. don't waste your money.

Fine grind only.

Can not adjust the size of the grind to large. Irritating. Otherwise, good quality.

Peugeot - The Rolls Royce of condiment grinders

I bought these three years ago to replace some cheap salt and pepper mills I bought from Asda and they're still as good as the day I first used them. I had to check on what I paid for them as I couldn't remember; yes they were expensive (nearly £50) compared to inferior brands but the price has long been forgotten while I'm still enjoying the quality.
