Great update to our bathroom

We had an old drippy sink that was begging to be put out of its misery. We replaced it with this, and it really is great. The main thing you want to be sure to order along with this is a small tub of plumber's putty to adhere the sink mount and for the rim around the drain. Youtube videos are extremely helpful for how to properly use the plumber's putty. You totally can DIY. We made sure to turn off the water supply first, and we checked the connections after replacing our input pipes with flexible lines (I recommend plumber's tape for any threaded connections). And the final tip is to check under the cabinet ever few hours after installing and turning the water supply back on....slow leaks are possible if all the connections are just so, and you would rather find out sooner than later.
