Best solution for my kitties

For some reason my kitties were always knocking their water bowl over. I tried several solutions with no success until I bought this bowl. They can’t knock this over. I am very satisfied.

Surprisingly, a really nice dish.

Ok. I admit it. We didn't need another cat dish. We have five for two cats already. But we couldn't resist the fabulous COLOR on this one! My only real gripe is that ours arrived with a small dent in the side. I did not feel it was worth returning it and mailing it back, but it was still disappointing. Wish whoever pulls the orders would LOOK at the items before tossing them in a box. Meanwhile, the color is something to behold. We bought the "Caribbean Teal". Wow. The rubber around the edge is not as non-slip as our other rubber-edged bowls are - our cat can move this dish around way too much. But, he seemed to love it from Day One, rather than have to sneak up on it and test it out! The other high five for these dishes is the ease of cleanup. We don't have a dishwasher. (Yes, you can feel a little sorry for me - I sure miss having one! LOL!) The other (Stainless steel) cat food dishes have to be soaked for a while to remove the dried bits of cat food that the cats have left behind, cemented with industrial strength cat spit. Seriously, I would have to chisel it out if I did not soak them. This dish wipes clean like it was teflon coated (which it is not). I am not sure why, since the finishes don't look all that different from our other dishes, except for the color. But I appreciate that it is so easy to clean, despite our chewer-spitter-outer doing his best to leave behind his clues from the previous meal. The bowl is not as wide and flat as our other dishes. I'd always purchased the flat ones to keep their whiskers from being mushed back while they ate. This one has higher sides and a smaller diameter than the other dishes, but it doesn't seem to bother their whiskers and actually keeps the food from being spread so "far and wide" in the dish. In other words, it seems to be a little easier for them to actually get the food out of the dish, and no one has registered a complaint in regards to whisker bending. So all in all, bummed about the small dent, in love with the color and how easy it is to clean, and the cat took to it right away. We'll probably get another one in a different color for our other cat. UPDATE: we did get another dish for our other cat! Ha! Quite a dish collection we have now. We bought the 24-Karat Gold for our girl cat. Both dishes continue to be their favorites out of all the ones we've tried. All paws up for this dish!

Black grip rings constantly fall off and are difficult to get back on.

Nice weight but don’t care for the black rubber grip rings because they come off too easily and are hard to get back in position. Like the color.

The One Cup Capacity Dish Is Only Good For A Three Ounce Can Of Food

My cat TOBY just loves to tip over his dry food bowl right after I fill it. We can't figure out why he does that because he likes the food and eats it up. I looked at all these different bowls and it can drive you crazy because some reviewers say that their cat knocked over the bowl and others say that it is great and the cat can't flip it over or send it flying over the tile Kitchen floor. The one thing that I did notice was that mostly all of the qcat food bowls seemed to come in one cup capacity. It is hard to picture how big the one cup bowl really is, so for the dry food, I went with the one bowl I found that had two cup capacity for the dry food. At night I give TOBY either the Broths or a three oz can of Gravy Lovers Dinner. I add a little water to especially the Gravy Lovers, and I guesstimated that the one cup capacity bowl would be fine. When the two bowls arrived on Thursday, I was a bit surprised by how small this one was and I was glad that I went for the two cup capacity bowl for his dry food. With this bowl I put the three ounce can of gravy lovers into the bowl and I add the water an stir. When take it to where he eats it is pretty full and now I am thinking that I should have just gotten two of the two cup dishes. Well time will tell if there is a major problem with this smaller size bowl. The bowl itself is nice the color is very close to the picture and with the wider base there would be less chance of it being flipped over. It really depends how much you plan to feed your pet as to which size is the right size. As always if I need to I will update this review. UPDATE: July 21, 2015 I used this bowl for a little while but Toby was constantly trying to tip it over and sometimes he almost did. I finally found a stoneware bowl that had substantial weight, and he definately has not even come close to tipping it over. Problem solved and some little kitty waiting for their furever home will have a nice little dish to eat from at our local no kill pet shelter where I donated the bowl to.

Awesome pet bowl

I bought 2 of these for my cats to use as treat bowls. Before we were using one plastic treat bowl with 2 sides. They seemed to not like eating right need to each other and the bowl we had was hard to clean so I decided to search for new bowls. I found these and have to buy them. My cats love these bowls and so do I. These bowls are made of stainless steel and have a rubber skid stop base to hold the bowl in place and prevent scratching the floor. I find that is bowl does a great job at not moving around the floor as much as our old bowl. It's also nice to have the skid stop rubber base with stainless steel bowls so they don't scratch up your flooring. These bowls come in many different colors which is great so you can choice the color that works best for you. I personally choice the caribbean teal color for both bowls and there absolutely stunning. These bowls also come embossed with fish bones designs on the side of the bowl with add a cute touch to the bowls. These bowls are also FDA compliant and dishwasher-safe which makes for easy cleaning.The powder coated finish of these bowls add extra strength against wear and tear and weather and a lifetime guarantee against rust. I would recommend these bowls to everyone they really are great bowls for your pets.

Purple cat bowl

Puuuurrrrr, we all love these bowls, we ordered two of them for the cats birthday to match our recently renovated kitchen, they are a great metallic cadburys purple and are hardy, they have been in the dishwasher a number of times and have not lost any of their brightness.

Not 8 ounces

No clue if they shipped us the wrong item but this thing was definitely not 8 ounces. It's 4 ounces. And pretty certain it's not stainless steel, feels like plastic. Returning the item, this doesn't even come close to matching the product description.

Beautiful, efficient cat bowls

No longer do I have to watch my kitten Luna push her bowl across the room while she eats her wet food. These bowls are non-skid, so they do not move while your cat is eating voraciously. They are also very beautiful, and wash up nicely. In my opinion, they are the perfect size for a cat.

I got these bowls because my cats enjoyed tipping their water all over the floor a little too much. They can't flip them over anymore and even if I accidentally kick one the water just slashes a little, but doesn't spill.
