Not that durable

When a bargain, isn't
Thinner than I expected. It should be easier to remove due to less weight. The price was right. I am basically pleased with my purchase and expect it to last three seasons. That's how long my previous, more expensive solar cover lasted. I'll report back after using. EDIT: July 15, 2019...exactly one year since my purchase of the Pool Mate solar blanket. My old pool cover finished out the 2018 season so when my Pool Mate blanket was delivered, about July 18, 2018, I unboxed, measured and inspected this item to assure it was what I ordered. I then repacked it and stored it in my temp controlled garage for ten months. On May 24 2019, I started fresh with my new Pool Mate solar blanket. When off the pool I bundle the blanket in the shade of my deck covered with a white sheet. The sun can do serious damage to a removed, unprotected blanket after as little as one hot afternoont. By mid-June, four or five man's hand size areas of bubbles had begun to de-laminate from the flat backing. Now, after less than two months, I'm finding limp bubble tops in the skimmer and floating on the pool surface. I'll need a new blanket next season. The guarantee offers free replacement in the first year. I shall soon be finding out if they honor that warranty one year and one day after purchase...particularly after so little use. Maybe I'll have better luck with the replacement...if allowed.

Perfect fit. Worked great first year. The second year the bubble tops came off and floated around the pool EVERYWHERE. Ended up ripping way too easily second year

It sure did help with the temperature of the water. And it only took a couple of days.We will use and still use it everytime we leave the pool.
