Worked perfectly. Nails work just fine.

Ignore what people is saying.... seems like most of the people here have no idea what they are talking about or doing. Yes, nails are bigger than hole but once you hammered then they go down like butter. Finally fixed the bifold door and my wife is happy and will leave me alone until something else shows up.

totally saved my door

As another poster noted, I wish the floor mount was a "star" fitting rather than a nut. I was able to re-use the old piece with the set to make this work, but if it was broken or pushed into the door like some reviewers found, it would not have worked. Overall a good design? Not sure why the doors aren't built with these types of hardware to begin with... prolly 2 cents cheaper to make.

Perfect! Except...

The nails provided are way too big in diameter for the teeny, tiny holes in the faceplates. Fortunately, I had some nails on hand that fit. Otherwise, the repair kit worked perfectly on my old bi-fold closet doors.

Work great

If you have ever purchased a bifold door kit with plastic hardware then you should realize that you need to just buy these and don’t bother attempting to use those. These are head and shoulders better that the hardware with the plastic bodies that you tap into the doors. These work as they should. Very pleased.

Works well - an easy repair.

I used these to repair where the old hardware was loose in wood socket holes. In addition to the nails, I inserted these repair parts in the loose hoes with some J-B WoodWeld Epoxy. This worked 100%. I would have given an extra star if the kit included a serrated or toothed bottom pivot in addition to the straight one. I had to buy the serrated bottom pivots separately, as there was not room to install the one provided without cutting about 3/8" off the door.
