Amazing boots
I have 4 to 5E width feet. Most all boots and shoes hurt me. These do not. More than enough room for my piggies. The memory foam feeling in the insoles is better than heavenly. The traction is spot on for casual or duty use. They seem to clean themselves rather easily after being in the field. Well made boots by a trusted name

Said they were extra wide. but are more like wide. Other than that, I would have liked them.

Great boots
I've not had them long yet. So far lots of good. The only reason I took one star away is the width. I have very wide but also thin feet. Think ducks or pancakes. While the width is ok they were a bit more snug than I would expect for an extra wide. I would say it's more of a standard wide width. I get away with this easier because the shoe can adapt by compressing down from height my foot don't use. If your have standard wide thick feet they may not work for you in the X-wide. I'd go with the XX-wide. The sole is flexible enough out of the box to be comfortable. I expected it to be stiffer from experience with other boots, so that's a plus. Today I hiked through the snow with them on for a couple hours. My feet stayed dry and warm and had no painful areas caused specifically by the shoes. That's exactly what I wanted them for. Now to see if that continues and how long they hold up.

Crazy comfortable- X-wide is actually WIDE! Imagine that!
My absolute favorite pair of work boots I've ever had. I tried 7 pairs of $125-$200 high quality boots in supposed "x-wide" sizes and sent them all back for varying degrees of utter discomfort. I got these just taking a chance and was thrilled to discover my new go-to boots. I have a very wide foot but these 9½x-wides are absolutelyperfect and as described aka "extra wide". Unlike all of the Timberland Pros, Carhartts, and Wolverines I tried. I wear 9½ in length but usually have to buy 10-10½ or even 11 to accommodate the width, but not anymore. Waterproofing is terrific, feet barely sweat and only after long days in the sun, which is uncommon for waterproof/resistant pairs typically. I've gotten paint, joint compound, wood filler, primer, mud, and fox-tails/thistles/stickers on/in them and yet they cleaned up thoroughly each time. Even the fabric upper. Surprisingly the fabric doesn't fray easily as I assumed it might, and after 2 months of daily wear in every condition/ terrain you can think of, they still clean up well and look a week old. I will update my review at the 6 month mark to comment on how they hold up over time but I don't forsee any issues. Even if there were, I feel like they would still be worth it given the crazy good deal I got on them. Needless to say I am extremely happy with my purchase, and I would certainly reccomend them to anyone who doesn't specifically need a steel toe or an all leather boot.

Little smaller and not as wide as expected but
I can tell you the insole is cheap and thin no support what so ever . I just ordered insoles to give the boot a fair trial. We will see. The outer sole looks decent, the boot as a whole looks great and wouldseem to last, again on that time will tell.

Light weight
Being on my feet all day, boots were comfortable my feet stay dry my legs were not tired at the end of the day because of the weight of the boot. I sprayed mine with water repellent they worked great.

Not waterproof and toe cap is not the type on safety shoes
These are nice boots, they fit well and feel great from the first time they are on. (Very wide feet here) I cannot speak on durability as I returned them due to the fact they are not in the least bit waterproof. A brief walk trough wet grass soaked my feet. Also, I was confused with the mention of a tpu toe cap. There is a cap, but this is not the kind on safety shoes. It would be functional in resisting abrasions from hiking though. If you need a wide comfortable boot that is not waterproof these might be a great choice.

One of the few brands that offer 2XX wide shoes.
I have a wide foot and have a difficult time finding shoes that don't squeeze my feet and make them hurt. These hiking boots seem very comfortable. However, I have not been hiking in them yet. I was standing on concrete all day long and seemed comfortable. True test will come next week when I hike in desert for 2 weeks. Will see how comfortable, hot and durable boots are.

'narrower' but NOT narrow
Indeed these boots are narrower than typical xx-wide boots, but they are NOT narrow per se. A rough calculation is - Sketchers x-wide = Propet xx-wide (I own both brands) I have worn xx-wide boots all my life (Sketchers, Vasque, Propet). These are good boots, & even though narrower, the material is soft & flexible (think padded duffle bag material). So the shoe does not bite your feet (and I have fallen arches/flat feet i.e. broad at the middle). So even with narrower base/sole, the top flexes, hence are comfortable to walk. NOTE: these are not hikers by any definition; they good for city walk or paved trails, but not wilderness.

Good deal
Seem to be well constructed and are comfortable. Delivery time was good.

Not waterproof
These boots claim to be waterproof this is ABSOLUTELY NOT the case. Walking through wet grass saturates them in seconds. Porous in rain.

Good boot
So far so good. Comfortable boot. I use them for work and I walk over 20 km a day doing deliveries. We’ll see how long they last but I’m happy with my purchase.
