Great!! Used in a one piece fiberglass shower stall.

Wasn't sure when I ordered if this would work in our one-piece fiberglass shower stall (431/2 in.inside measurement). No worries though with the correct hardware. First I'd like to echo what I found to be true from other reviews. 1) Plumbling and hardware is solid, high quality and almost all metal with very smooth action. The few plastic parts, like the hand shower, in our case would need to be replaced on some interval anyway because of the long-term corrosive effects of our city supply. 2) Installs easily. Directions are simple and easy to follow. 3) Measure carefully. My wife and I differ in height by ten inches. We found the location of the rain head and shower bar perfect and the switch between hand and rain head reachable for her. But there is wide variance in users and installers so make sure it will work in your current setup or you will have much more work to do than merely screwing the fixture. 4) Make sure your current shower head is solid. The rain head and piping are heavy so if your current one is wobbly, correct before installing. Installing in one piece fiberglass shower. 1) Buy theseMechanical Plastics 50375 Toggler Snaptoggle 10-Pack 3/16 x 24-Inch BA Wall Anchors 2) While the screws supplied with the Toggler may work, they are not stainless. Searching all across the internet and big box stores, I could not find 1/4-20 X 3 1/2 stainless screws in small quantities. I did find them on a large internet auction site in a quantity of ten however. 3) Drill your 1/2" holes for the Toggler carefully. I checked for studs so that I was clear to insert the Toggler. However, when I got down to the lower hole there was a copper pipe near enough to the hole to sustain damage if i had been widely forcing the 1/2" brad point bit through the fiberglass. 4) I used some Kitchen and Bath clear caulk around this hole after inserting the Toggler and then locked it down. After tightening the screws, it seems very solid and sturdy. I didn't remove the flow limiters from either device. We are going to use for a while before trying. I'm worried if we do remove the limiters, the fine spray nozzles might direct too harsh a spray at the user. Plus, I'm frugal (cheap).

We love the shower head and the handheld spray.

We love the shower head and the handheld spray. Taking a shower is very soothing with the rain waterfall and using the attachment always comes in handy. When we moved into our new home the shower head in our bathroom did not work so well. So, we decided to purchase a new one and glad we found this item. My brother-in-law who is super handy, installed this shower head and the attachment for us. It did take him about 2 hours to complete the job. Both the head and spray have worked very well for us and we have owned this going on 9 months. The water that comes out of the shower head has a good stream that covers you entirely. We have not had a problem with the water coming out weak or too strong, it is perfect for us. The shower head is movable and not in a permanent position, you are able to change the direction of which way it points. Located near the top of the shower head, on the left, is a valve for using the shower head or the handheld spray. The handheld spray is just great! I love this thing and use it to wash my hair. It really gets my hair wet and ready for the shampoo and then rinses it perfectly without any suds remaining. It also comes in handy when my elderly grandmother takes a shower so she can sit in her shower chair and use the handheld spray. There are several spray strengths and to change them you just turn the handheld spray clockwise. The handheld spray has a long cord so you do have a lot to work with in the shower. Where the handheld shower is stored, you can adjust it by pressing on the lever and move it up or down for your preference. Also, there is a soap dish that installs on the handheld shower rod. Very happy with this purchase and how well it has worked for us. This is an item that I would recommend for sure.

Excellent shower system

This is a great shower system. The handheld is lightweight but feels substantial. Good pressure and easy to change flow variations. I am able to stand under either shower head or use the hand wand to direct to my neck/head (great for a headache)! The rain head is also wonderful for a lingering, relaxing experience. I don't use that head as much, since my installer put the top pipe so high that it is difficult for me, at 5'2", to reach the valve to change between shower heads. Overall, I would recommend this item.

Great, But One MAJOR Flaw...

Ok, I love it. BUT...it has one major design flaw...or perhaps my contractor and I had no idea there might be any other way. The shower head is great. The handle shower is powerful if not a tad loud next to your ears while using. Seriously, I kind of have to cover my ears but I like the power of it. The soap tray is plastic and somewhat flimsy but seems to be holding up ok. My issue is with the register for transitioning the water from the rain shower head to the hand held sprayer. It's at the very top of the rain shower head. Which, if you're installing a rain shower head, you're probably installing it kind of high above. We especially were as my husband is tall so we specifically choose this style of shower. It's ok right now, I'm young enough. But my daughter who's 11 can't reach it to change from rain shower to hand held and if you were elderly, I'd worry you could slip and fall if reach it at all. We have a good sized curb in our shower that I can step on and angle myself in such a way as to stretch up to just barely reach it. I keep thinking they're must've been an option for putting it somewhere else but then I look and don't really see that happening. It's kind of a deal breaker as a working product because of that but I didn't realize this until it was installed and I love it otherwise.
