A bit expensive for what it is, but there aren't many choices out there

It's pretty expensive considering it has a plastic box as the mailbox. The front part is pretty solid, and it looks like it will last. The plastic part goes into the structure, so you don't even see it, and my contractor poured concrete on top of it and it didn't buckle under the weight, but make sure you follow the instructions and be sure the put the box in correctly, with the notches on the left side. My contractor didn't pay attention and put it in upside down, so he had to cut out notches on the opposite side. Hopefully that doesn't cause issues with the integrity of the box. It looks nice in the structure. I'll post a picture when I have the top cap on. I only saw one other mailbox for a column mailbox, so I guess they can charge what they want.
