Worth the money

could be better

I was hoping to use Rapala ruler as my main Kayak or Boat ruler but its a bit flimsy. I can't complain due to the price and how easy and convenient it is to carry and put away.

Great tool for the boat!

This works so much better than a tape measure and is easy to carry on a kayak. It does sink very fast though. Had to order another one ????

A great folding fish ruler

This is a great ruler. 24" when open, it folds into a very slim and compact 12" strip and fits perfectly into my sling pack. The middle fold unfortunately doesn't lock once opened, but it's a small inconvenience for the amazing price.

Does what is suppose to do.

Cheaply made came apart but bang for the buck is useful. Used it mainly for walleye and bass. But not competitions usage.

A Little Flimsy

It doesn't take up much space folded in half. It's a little flimsy where the two halves join but it still works well enough.

Just needs tweaking slightly, take note manufacturer.

I'd give the full 5 if the clips that hold it in half wasn't so tight and the hinge was stronger. In effect the clips are so tight that when trying to unclip the hinge pops out. I have filed the clips down a bit to stop this from happening. Other wise excellent as you can fit it in your fishing box and measure larger fish.

Size matters!

I hope the plastic and the markings will hold up against the weather as mine are hard mounted to my boat. Time will tell. I do like the overall design.

Good quality and folding size. The clip is a bit tight, excellent fit it in your fishing box and measure larger fish.
