This is the only brand and style that works for my dog
I have tried at least for brands and 5 styles and this is the only one that works for my 28 lbs goldendoodle.

Wish it worked for us
I was so hopeful my dog would like this harness after outgrowing his first one that was puppia brand. The leash clips were not as big as another brand we tried and bothered him less. Unfortunately he is an awkward size right now and the adjustment point ended up under his armpit and he would just refuse to walk anywhere with it on. It worked great in the car the few times we used it with his seatbelt clip in. Seems like a great harness, just not for us.

The thing I love most about this harness is the handle on the back I love how easy and accessible it is to grab in case you ever need to for safety reasons. Does harness fits comfortably and perfectly. I was so worried that my dog would slip out of her collar because she goes crazy when she sees bikers but this harness has eased my mind thank you so much RC!

Fit was really weird.
I've used the velcro harnesses from this brand (the velcro wears out after a year of use) many times over, for some reason this buckled version in the same size does not fit well. I have small dogs who usually fit the small size from this brand. But the straps could not pull very far. It basically comes as a loose size that if your dog needs adjusting, you're out of luck. It won't get much bigger or smaller in any of the areas as none of the straps can move much. It's well made and quality design, I think, just the straps make it unusable.

Dog is In-between Sizes
Our dog has been wearing this harness in large, but due to successful weight loss (she was chubby when we adopted her) it's now loose even when tightened all the way. We ordered the medium thinking it would fit her perfectly but we can't even close the buckles with the straps loosened as far as they go. I assumed based on the sizing chart that there would be a smooth transition between sizes but that was not the case. I'm still giving the harness three stars because it's very well made.

Good, sturdy quality but not for my compact-built dog.
I got this harness in a size medium for my 20 lbs poodle-schnauzer mix. She has recently gone blind and I was looking for a harness with a more rigid structure that would allow me to guide her. This harness doesn't work though. My dog has the Schnauzer's "barrel chest" and the small size didnt fit around her ribcage. It looked like the medium was a good fit but the bottom/belly part is too long, even on the shortest setting, so the chest plate keeps riding up and cutting into her neck. This may work well for well for lean, narrow-built dogs. I'll have to send it back.

Great quality
Love the adjustability of the under he's and snaps. But the neck should have snaps as well. My dogs head is a pit bull head but rest including the neck is a lab size. I can us it just but hard getting it off head.

Exactly what I was looking for
Perfect harness for my very active puppy. It was easy to adjust it to his size. Feels sturdy when I walk him and he pulls on the leash as he tries to chase the squirrels. Easy to put on and take off. Very happy with my purchase.

adjustments are hard to make
The harness is well made. Only shortcoming is the adjustments are hard to make as the straps are very stiff.
