Silver Bell, it's Christmas time in the city

Can't beat the real thing. Once in a while they play Silver Bell on the radio and I look around for one. Well, I know our Christmas Tree though fake and made of plastic, has a real silver bell that can play and has a distinct sound. You can't see on the picture but it has a ringer in the middle so you can really ring it.

Pretty sure this is fake! Very disappointed.. I'm going to have it analyzed asap from a jewelry dealer. If it's fake I'm hoping to be very mad.. this is a present!

Lovely sterling silver bell

I have the engraved version. On the one hand, it seems questionable to commemorate Christmas 2020. But on the other hand, decorating well seems so much more important this year. This bell is sterling silver (why does the listing say 'metallic'???), which is stamped on the inside of the bell. It's relatively thin, so it's not too heavy, and can be hung on the tree. And it has a pleasant peal when you ring it. Definitely packaged for giving, in a red velvet box that in turn has a red velvet drawstring bag, and inside that, the lovely bell is protected with anti-tarnish paper. Also comes with a red ribbon for hanging.

Rip-Off

I was very disappointed with this bell. While I can't say whether it actually had any silver in it or not, I can say it appeared cheap, thin and not worth the $120 paid. The finish looked like brushed nickel on the inside. The weight of it was .8 oz, which means it had about $18 worth of silver. I would recommend finding another source.

Beautiful & Timeless!

This 2020 Christmas Bell ornament is STUNNING, and it really stands out as a beautiful piece on our tree. I wanted something classic and beautiful this year when looking back on 2020 in the future. We’ll remember this year for a lot of things, and it is so nice to have something uncomplicated and beautiful, despite so much sadness for so many this year. The weight of this ornament is very lightweight, which surprised me, but it’s actually really nice so it doesn’t weigh down tree branches. The bell sounds just as you’d expect for its size and weight, giving off a light and pleasant ringing sound. This is definitely an heirloom ornament that will be passed down in my family for years. Timeless!
