Attractive and flexible

I got these lights to replace my existing dining table lights. They are very functional and attractive. I use 75w equivalent dimmable LED lights in this fixture and they work just fine. I have them hanging so that the lights are about five feet above the table surface and they cast excellent light at that distance. However, they are flexible enough that you can mount them at a height you want. I was afraid installation would be a pain but they turned out to be pretty easy to install. The fixture can hang up to 72" (six feet) from the ceiling which you can adjust in 12" increments. The light includes 2' chains and 12" rods that you connect together. Installation took about 30 minutes. Remember to turn off the electricity at the breaker box! Turning off the switch may not always completely kill the power to the light; the 'smart' dimmers I use still have a small amount of current flowing even if the light is off, so be careful if you install these yourself!

Looks great over the pool table

I ordered this Robert Stevenson Lighting Walsh - Metal 4-Light Linear Chandelier with Shades to put over my husbands pool table. It was easy for him and a buddy to install and even included the chains. The light is dimmable and shines very brightly. If you’re planning to use this as a pool table light we recommend using flat lightbulbs instead of the included pictured bulbs. The bulbs in the photo were so bright they had blind spots when shooting pool even with them dimmed. He replaced them with flat bulbs from the hardware store and it’s not blinding.
