Sole has came unglued.

Boots are very light weight. I bought these boots as a duty boot in March 2023 I wear them on average 4 days a week 8 hours a day. Less than a month later the soles has separated and are no longer attached. Return date ended April 5th. how frustrating!

Nice but flawed

These polished up very nice and look good. They were stiff when I started wearing them, as to be expected. However, after a few weeks it became clear that the tongue of the right boot constantly would turn itself in towards the arch. This is accompanied by foot pain across the top of my right foot. I think this is a manufacturers defect or not. I cant wear them without pain in my right foot, which is a shame, cause they look good. I’m past my return window so I guess I’m stuck. If this problem wasn't present i’d give it 5 stars.

Cheap but work

Worn for 8.5 months, the sole is falling off. They’re comfortable and waterproof for the most part. I’ll buy again.

Decent boot

I have had these for a few weeks now and still trying to break them in. A little stiff but I think with some time they will break in. Nice boot for the price, definitely like the looks of them.

Good boot for the money

I received the boots in two days. Which was great! They are pretty stiff out of the box, but after treating them with some mink oil it loosened them up. The main difference between the Danner Acadias and these Rockys is that the Rockys are made in China and the Acadias are made in the good ol US of A. They are both Gore-Tex lined and they both have the restichable Vibram sole. The boot is fairly light and comfortable. I would recommend replacing the factory insole, it will make a huge difference in the comfort level. Working in the Great Up North aka the U.P., you need a boot that will be able to handle all weather conditions. These boots so far have been good tromping through the snow, ice, slush and mud. If you are working in either the Law Enforcement or Corrections field you will need a boot that you rely on for 8 to 16 hours a day. These boots have made the cut so far. So if you are wanting to get a pair of Danners but can't quite afford them, these are the boots for you. Stay safe out there.

Comfortable but not perfect

I wear these 8.5 hours a day 5 days a week and have been wearing them since July. Well to start they are not as waterproof as I'd like but they fair pretty well in normal rain but a step into a good sized puddle will soak through, although you mileage may very as my liner started falling apart and came partially unstitched. They're pretty comfortable and clean up good so for a pair of budget duty boots they get the thumbs up.

The only thing missing that would make this boot perfect is getting a foot massage while wearing them. Your feet stay dry, the aggressive tread will grip very well in wet grass. Only downfall is if the bottoms get wet and you walk onto a slippery surface in a business then you have to be careful to avoid skipping. Boots may look like they are ridiculously huge and heavy, but thy have surprised me on how light they actually feel. After a few days breaking them in I'm almost certain I will buy any other pair when these start wearing down. Awesome boot, exceeded my expectations. I only buy Rocky boots, now this will be the only Rocky Duty boots that I'll wear

Great boots!

Boots fit true to size. Boots did great in the snow and rain (water seepage). Lots of complements from peers. The boots are way lighter and more comfortable than my old Danner’s.!
