Good - but scratches easily
Purchased this in the antique brass as well as matte black. This solved my concern with trying to get corner curtains installed in 2 bedrooms. The set itself is modern and has a classic look to it. Fairly easy to install (No different than hanging up any other curtain rods). I had gotten quotes from 2 different blind companies and with outside mounted blinds and the way they would have had to be aligned (not to mention $$$), I decided hanging curtains would be more cost effective. A couple of things to mention about the antique brass. First, I purchased 1" curtain rings to attach to the curtains. The rings aren't big enough to glide over the center of the rod, so rather than the daily struggle of helping it over, I just close the curtains to the middle of the rod at night. Secondly, once I had the rod up, I had to take it a part to add an additional curtain ring on each side. It was pretty locked in at the center, so I had to twist and try to pry the rods a part. There's scratches now from doing this, which I didn't expect to happen. I'm not sure if pulling the curtain closed daily will eventually wear off the brass from the rod. Luckily, I have the rods mounted fairly high so it's not too noticeable for now, but I will be keeping an eye out. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase and glad I went with it rather than the blinds.

It works!
I have two windows in a corner, and had been looking for how to hang curtains so close to the corner. Then I discovered this rod. It is easy to install, and it works great.

The Rod looks Great After Got Them Installed
I had a few problems putting this up by myself...mostly because I'm not a "handywoman" but I'm learning. I put them up but then had to move the inner brackets closer to the connector. Realized my panel wouldn't completely cover the window when pulled over...my fault. On one of the brackets, I could not get the screws to go all the way in. Had a few problems with positioning the drill holes.....the second time I used an awl and then the drill didn't jump. I bought shorter screws and then was able to screw them all the way in. I then had to patch the drill holes and touch up with paint (I had recently painted the room). I thought the Finials would screw in like others I have but they're okay and I like the looks of them. Now that I have them up with my panels, I really like the rod. I was concerned how the brackets in the middle would look without a panel in the middle but it looks good. Great for corner windows. Maybe my experience will help someone else.
