Good Quality But Not Direct Bolt-on - Cutting Required for 2014 JK

Caution, does not fit on 2014 JK. It was partially my fault because description said up to 2013 and my buddy has a 2013...didn't seem like much had changed. You will need to do some cutting and relocating to get this to fit. That said, this is a good, sturdy winch mount plate. In my opinion it is a little better than the Smittybilt one also made for stock JK bumpers...but that bolted on with no customization needed.

2012 JK wrangler install

The plate is an ideal alternative to buying a complete bumper but be sure you get a brake canister relocation bracket and 2 bolts that will go completely thru the frame. There is no possible way to tighten up the winch mount brackets without the longer bolts. This mount also entails cutting off the old canister bracket with a sawsall or cutter wheel. Looks good when done and you save yourself a good deal of money over a completely new bumper.
