no lid, but still a great tumbler

First things first, at the time of this writing (6/4/2020), these tumblers do NOT come with a lid when purchased from Amazon; however, the official website exclusively sells 18 oz tumblers with lids. The Good: - Excellent insulation despite the thinness of the walls. The outside of the cup does not get hot or cold to the touch regardless of how hot/cold your drink is. No "sweat" or condensation ever forms due to cold drinks. - The 18 oz size is great because it easily fits a pint of beer; whereas, some other "pint" tumblers I've seen/used are actually a bit too small when you take the foam/head into account. - The mouth of the cup is wide enough for me to fit my hand into, so no brush is needed for a proper scrubbing. I didn't measure it, but the S'well website lists the width as 3.35" - The design/paint on the outside looks/feels durable, so I don't expect it to chip or flake off any time soon. Time will tell. - Although, the designs skew feminine, they're nice & include enough neutral ones... also, the S'well logo isn't hideously emblazoned on them... ahem, Hydro Flask...... - This tumbler is nice to drink out of without a lid on. I have some coffee tumblers that have screw-on lids that feel a bit weird to drink out of without the lid. The Bad: - No lid is included; though, you can purchase one separately, or go to the S'well website and buy the tumbler with the lid already included. As of this writing, I see that S'well just released a 2nd "slide-open" lid for their tumblers that's not listed on Amazon yet. The original lid appears to have holes on the top that cannot be closed, while the slide-open lid appears to be fully close-able. - This tumbler is fairly pricey, esp if you have to buy the lid separately. - New cups come with a cardboard thing glued to them, and the adhesive leaves a nasty residue behind when you pull it off. You can scrub it off, but it was kind of annoying.

All these thermal cups come with lids-my pink S’well came with one. Why not this one?

I like this cup...mostly.

I like this cup. It fits in a single serve K-Cup but for the price does not come with a lid, boo. This has been an issue and I contacted S'Well and they put the blame back on Amazon....not great customer service. I won't be buying their products again.

Doesn’t come with a lid!!

I was so excited to purchase this well-made tumbler, I couldn’t wait to use it! When it finally arrived, I thought there was something missing as it came without a lid. What’s the point of a tumbler if there is no lid? It should be classified as a cup. I find this to be comepletely misleading as the term, “tumbler” implies it can tumble and contain a drink. Wrong. This is so disappointing and frankly, it’s a little deceptive. Worry not though, you can purchase a lid for an additional $10... making this tumbler $40. Are you joking? Include the damn lid, it’s a tumbler for Christ sakes.

Money well spent.

I use this glass every day, all day. It keeps my water cold. At night I have it on my nightstand and I put two ice cubes in the water. In the morning the ice cubes are still chilling the remaining water. Love it!

Works almost too well

This Tumblr keeps my coffee piping hot. Sometimes I want to drink my coffee faster, but it's still so hot. Sometimes my cold brew is too cold. Call me Goldilocks but this thing is awesome.

Beautiful & Practical

It is has a lovely "teak" finish, beautiful to look at, nice to hold and keeps your drinks warm. A little pricey, otherwise Perfect.

Kind it disappointing

What’s the point of selling an insulated cup if there’s not a lid included? For what i paid, i would have appreciated a lid. Also the packaging left sticky residue because it was just a piece of paper with information about how great the cup is glued to the rim of the cup. Will be ordering a lid for the cup and keeping it but not real happy with said cup. It looks good and will fit in my cars cupholder. Will be good for hiding alcohol from my friends and family like i intended, so 3 stars instead of two.

Awesome cup, no lid!

The cup is great, a perfect size, good colour, keeps the temperature well. Just be aware that this one comes without a lid. We had another smaller cup from S'Well with a lid and it fits thankfully, otherwise the lid is pretty expensive on its own. It's a little decieving because most tumblers come with a lid, but technically it's not pictured or mentioned so it's on the buyer to notice that.

Great tumbler for coffee

I use this to keep iced coffee cold at my desk, it does that and also prevents the drink from sweating. I wish it came with a lid, but I ended up buying that separately. Recommended for those who spend long hours at their computer and don't want to invest in something like an Ember or a powered cooling/heating pad for their cup.

Excellent product

Way better than I expected. I got a glass of water and ice cubes at 9am, forgot about it, and there were still ice cubes in at 5pm. I use it all the time now, and am buying one for each of my family.
