They do the job

Comfortable, and did pretty descent on wet terrain. Laces are bit excessively long, and they don't breathe too well. But they do the job

I suppose I should've looked closer at this particular Salomon's reviews before purchasing. I had read multiple QA's on other pairs where many had said they didn't have to worry about buying wides because the Salomon's had proven comfortable as is. I ordered a half size up as is my go-to when I can't find wides, and was surprised to find that my toes were right where they should be on the correct size. Sadly, the width was very tight still, and after 10 minutes I had to take the shoes off and return them due to the discomfort it caused. After reading the comments on this specific pair I will likely buy another version and give it another go. The pair felt well built and as if it would be very comfortable other than the sides being so tight, but their US sizes aren't accurate on this pair.

How to tie shoes diagram not included

Very comfortable shoes. I really like them. fit well, no weird shaped insol. Though the tread grabs well, it picks up small rocks all the time- I have to pick the small rocks out of the tread before I walk on my tile. But great shoe, I enjoy the brand 2nd pair from the brand.

Never buying another brand again

Had a friend that comes from the military side of things and they suggested I try Salomon shoes and boots, needless to say I've bought 5 pairs from Salomon and will never buy another brand. Price might be high, but quality comes at a price. My first Salomon's lasted 3,200 miles before the soles lost all traction. Would like to get them re-soled.

Regular fit, smart looking hiking trainer

Great looking shoes that seem well made, correct fit as per my regular Adidas trainers for my regular feet. Buy on an offer and you'll be very pleased.

Excellent

These are American spec and colourway and as such take a little longer to arrive. However delivery was only a few days. Glad I found these as the Ultra X 4 UK shoes get bad reviews and in my opinion look horrible. These are spot on and a good replacement for Ultra X 3s. Yes, they come up small, it's yesterday's news. Simply buy one size up. Perfect.
