hard and narrow
After trying a couple different sam edelman sandles via try before you buy I am not a fan. This shoe does appear to be well made and is attractive and on trend. Unfortuately the foot bed in like a peice on wood.. it is hard and has zero give or padding. It would be very uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. Then it was very narrow. So narrow that my foot was not all the way into it and the shoe then slides off when trying to walk in it. I read in the reviews that said it runs narrow so I sized up. This left an inch of shoe at the back of my heel so the shoe looked way to big despite being too narrow. I am returning all of the sam edelman shoes and going with the steve madden slides instead. They are 1/3 of the price and have a padded foot bed.
