A bit pricy comparatively, but essential.
It is an essential purchase to keep my recovering foot truly non weight bearing while using a walker. This item is sturdy enough for the knee to rest on. Wish there is a bit more cushion. However, it is only noticeable when the knee is not placed squarely on the support.

was what we needed
My wife needed this attachment for her walker after her leg was amputated. The attachment works great but for $200 I wouldn’t thought it would be a DIY project. 1 arm was not attached and the attaching cap bolt was in the bag loose, like it had fallen out and the attaching nut was loose in the back of the bracket. When I tried to install the cap bolt to the nut, it failed into the attachment but didn’t go too far. It is well made, but if it’s going to be a DIY project you need to let people know. It’s no big deal for me but if my wife had to do it you would get it back. I do feel it’s over price, a walker $100 or less.

So, so heavy!
I liked the concept, but in practice it makes the walker very lopsided weight wise. It is very difficult to walk in a straight line because of the uneven distribution. Also, my clothes kept catching on the unit. It came with no instructions, but was pretty easy from looking at the pictures to figure out what to do. The threads were pretty stripped making it more difficult to assemble and one of the factory assembled (weight bearing parts) was not tight. I could not tighten it like the rest, so I assume that was also stripped. All that being said I did buy a used, "very good" unit. The fabric was also ripped. Unless you have very good upper body strength I would not even consider the product. Especially right out of surgery.

When you break your ankle...
The utility of this kneeler cannot be denied... especially in tight quarters, such as a small apartment. I used a kneeling scooter at my daughter's house which offered a lot of space for maneuvering... however, there were no scooters in rehab, so they gave me one of these to use. When I came home, I needed something that would help me get around inside my very small apartment, so I bought one on Amazon. This was (is) a lifesaver. The only problem with it, which is why I'm not giving it 5 stars, is that the fabric is prone to being badly chewed up by the velcro straps on a boot. The leading edge of my kneeler has been shredded in the 3 weeks I've been using it. Thankfully, I expect to be 100% weight bearing within 10 days, so I'll be able to donate this item to the rehab facility I was in. I hope they make an improved model with tougher material or perhaps a vinyl slipcover that is impervious to velcro.

This was a life saver!
My mother 71 year old mother had major ankle surgery (fusion) that required her to be non-weight bearing for 8 weeks. I bought a knee roller thinking that would be the best way for her to get around but I was completely wrong. Those are unstable and not easy to maneuver around in the home (especially for an elderly person already weakened from surgery). While in the hospital the physical therapist put this kneeler on a walker and my mother instantly felt more stable and confident. Prior to this they were telling her to hold up her one leg and hop on the other...again, easy for them to say but for an elderly woman that is not feasible. With this kneeler, she was able to lean on her knee, use the walker for stability, then move her good foot forward with ease. The other great thing about this seller/Amazon is the speed in which I received it. I needed it quickly since she was being released from the hospital. The local medical supply company told me three weeks to order it, the manufacturer told me at least a week but I ordered it from Amazon and literally had it within 12 hours with expedited shipping! Its been life saver! Very heavy duty metal with plenty of sturdy but soft padding for the knee. If you know anyone that needs to be non-weight bearing for a long period of time this is the device to get!

Worth Every Penny
I am lucky because I got to try this product out before buying it. While in the hospital for surgery on my foot the PT team allowed me to use it for my stay along with the walker. It's not covered by my insurance (Medicare or GEHA) I was able to keep my foot off the ground my entire stay. I ordered this while still in the hospital and have been using it since coming home. My foot has never felt better after surgery and it makes it so easy to comply with offloading instructions. Last picture is my dog Hank, just because I think he's cute.

Life Saver
Literally a life saver for my mother. She is elderly and had a big toe amputated. She cannot put any pressure on it until healed. She was really struggling with having to "hop" on one foot while using a walker and it was coming down to her having to use a wheelchair, which her home is not equipped for. The rehab center had one of these and it has made all the difference in the world! Mom is able to rest her knee in it, use the strength of that upper leg without putting any pressure on the foot to move herself along. Kuddos and a huge THANK YOU to whoever came up with this. Just wish Medicare did not consider it a "luxury" item and will not cover.

Overpriced but necessary.
I would not have been able to ambulated for weeks without this device. Between my broken foot and my broken sternum I needed this device. That being said, the price for this item is outrageous. And it arrived with a small tear in the cloth cover. I could not send it back because I needed it so I just made do.
