Wife loves it.

The brim is fairly wide and provides good shade. The material is fairly thick and very strong. The hat can be "crumpled" to fit in your purse. It makes my wife look 20 years younger, LOL.

Great hat, unfortunately not packaged correctly

I love it, but it has what appears to be a permanent crease in the brim due to not being packaged correctly, they actually fold it to get it into a box that's too narrow. It's unfortunate, would be a 5 star product otherwise. I've had it a couple of weeks now and have tried ironing it a few times, but the crease doesn't appear to want to come out. It's not super noticeable since ironing and I'm keeping it regardless, but it would be nice if they packaged it correctly to avoid this issue as I see it occurring in multiple reviews.

Oversized and Stunning!

This hat is high quality and arrived in great condition. I have a very small head and it fit me after I used the outside ribbon to tighten it. Looks designer and high end.

Dissapointed

I thought this was supposed to be a good company, as I have heard the name of the company for years, but I got to tell you, I was very disappointed with the hat. First of all, I don't feel it was packaged well enough and seemed pretty smashed when I received it. It was huge as well. This hat went back to Amazon.

Nice but wish they wouldn't fold it when shipping

This is a really nice hat. Good coverage and nice fit. However, there is a giant crease in the brim (from shippping) that I hope will come out with time. Such a shame that they have to fold the hat when they ship it. I wish they would find a better way.

Beautiful hat

Wore a black one at my son’s commissioning ceremony with a red dress. It came in perfect condition unlike some of the reviewers said.

Very Nice Hat

The hat is very nice, well made and has SPF 50 protection. the only disappointment was they packed it the squished it into a box a little to small and I am having a hard time getting out the kinks so it looks its best

Juste WOW!!

WOW! Digne d'un 5 étoiles ce modèle de chapeau soleil mérite toutes ses lettres de noblesse pour sa grande beauté, son élégance et son style glam qui se démarque. Quel chic allure!! Il a été emballé et livré rapidement dans un état très appréciable étant donné le transport dû à la distance. Un léger coup de fer a repasser en mode ¨linens¨ sur deux petits faux plis avant et BINGO il avait retrouvé sa forme originale. Pour plus de confort, je l'ai tout simplement ajusté et serré à ma tête au niveau de la petite bande de paille autour du chapeau. Photos qui démontrent le look actuel!!

Bent and creased

Arrived early but was folded up in plastic package and there were terrible creases throughout when taken out. I can’t imagine how to get this hat straightened out enough to wear in public. I’ve bought hats before that arrive folded and they come out nicely when unfolded but definitely not this one. Possible it was beat up a little in shipping too. Returned and will just keep shopping!

Poor Quality

I have a similar San Diego sun hat in a tan/taupe colour that I have had for 7 or 8 years and I love it. It has served me well. It can be folded up in your suitcase and beach bag. I wear it floating around in the pool. I thought it would be great to have it in black. The hat arrived a couple days before my trip. The quality was not nearly as good and the hat tore on the seam after only 2 days of wear. So very disappointing. I would not recommend this hat!
