Pineapple plant loves it.

I noticed my pineapple plant was sad during the winter when I had it indoors. I changed the previous bulb with this one and it is now doing fantastic. The bulb does well at 14 hours a day of load on a timer and does not get too hot.

Very Bright

I tested this light at 12 inches and it had 4500 lumens. Light is 4000K a very nice light to have on a desk or work area. Not as yellow at my 2200K nor as white as 6500K lights. Very affordable although price dropped 53% days after my purchase. I will get a couple more. Perfect for small terrarium or houseplants.

MUCH better grow light than other brands

I had a grow light I had purchased at a "regular" big box store in the isle with regular light bulbs. I switched it out for this one and noticed a HUGE difference in growth within the first week! I'm now switching over all my grow lights to Sansi and have been amazed at the difference in growth in my plants.

Great little grow light! It was a bit strong where I had positioned it for the Calathea, but some of my other plants love it!

Excellent broad spectrum grow light

This broad spectrum grow light puts out significant luminously for a 10watt rating. That means more energy goes into generating light rather than heat, which can shorten the life of the capacitors in its power supply. In addition, the largest power supply capacitor is stood off from its hot circuit board to try to keep it cooler. That should increase the longevity of this LED bulb. That's smart engineering.

Perfect Solution for Office Desk Plants

Short Review: Combing this bulb with an articulating desk lamp at work has allowed me to successfully grow seedlings and help my desk plants thrive, despite a dark office space and a cubicle that blocks most of the natural sunlight in the area. My plants are growing and thriving and I want to upgrade to the 40W version of this bulb soon. Long Review: I work in a media broadcast company, which means that the light in the office is often kept quite low so our editors can better see their monitors, or so I am told. I was keeping some plants on a table near some south facing windows for awhile but felt it defeated the purpose, since I really wanted them in my cubicle, where I could enjoy them. After purchasing this particular bulb (as well as Globe Electric 56963 Metal Clamp Desk Lamp) I was able to move my dracaena to my desk and watch it thrive despite no natural sunlight reaching my cubicle in any usable amount. I have even been growing some cottonwood seeds at my desk very successfully, thanks to this bulb, and bought a second bulb for a jade plant at home, which has begun sprouting new leaves after installing the bulb at their desk. My only complaint is that the effective radius (16'' above the plant) really is its most effective radius, and I can see a significant difference in the seedlings growing directly under the light versus those growing at the edges of its effective range. So desk plants do need to be clustered together under the bulb to really get the most benefit. However - this was easily fixed with a second bulb, and I am planning on purchasing the larger 40W Daylight LED Plant Light Bulb to really brighten up my desk at work and see to it that all my seedlings and plants are getting equal light and attention.

Daylight dupe, narrow beam

I have two of these, and the Sansi 30W, a clip on blue/red grow lamp, and a SAD lamp from another company. These are the closest to daylight, especially morning light (but not a replacement for a SAD lamp as it's not enough lumens). I have one in my windowless bathroom and one in the dark living room on timers. The bathroom one, the way the light comes out the door, from the hallway you'd think there was a window in there. It exactly matches the morning light coming in from a nearby east facing window. The bathroom one I have diffused, pointing up at the ceiling, and the vinca vines in the 4x4' space seem to do fine, they're definitely reaching for it. The living room one is suspended over a 1x1' coffee table and I only wish the beam was wider. Hung 3' over the table it still doesn't cover the full area, it really only hits directly on one plant... it looks like a film noir interrogation, haha! That said, I noticed plants up to 3' away benefiting from it at least slightly. These don't get hot at all, only warm to the touch, and the one in the bathroom is performing fine in humidity after about a month. The Sansi 30W is about 50% larger, heavier, and much more "alien" looking. It's bluer in color by comparison, brighter, and casts a wider beam. I have that one suspended 4' over a work table in my 8x8' office on a timer and it fully dries the cactus mix soil in all the plants in the office over the course of 2-3 days. Overall, Sansi bulbs are pricey and weird looking but my research keeps bringing me back to them. I hate the red/blue/purple grow lights because they don't allow me to visually appreciate my plants or anything else nearby while they're on!

SANSI takes sad, little seed sprouts to the next level

The last few winters we really missed the fresh herbs from our garden. Last year my attempt to simply use natural light yielded NOTHING. (We live in central MN.) This fall, my husband made beautiful custom oak shelves for me to grow my cooking herbs & greens inside. I purchased standard red/blue grow bulbs at the store. While I managed to get the seeds to sprout - an improvement over last year - after six weeks, none had enough energy to truly take hold and have strong enough stems to stand up and thrive. After A LOT of reading about full light spectrum lighting, I purchased two SANSI 15W full spectrum ceramic plant spot lights for the upper shelf and the SANSI 70W full spectrum plant light for the lower shelf. Within a week all the plants responded positively. I rotate the plants once a week. After 3 weeks under the lights, the plants are really starting to grow. Soon we will be enjoying Naan flatbread pizza with fresh basil again! Using the SANSI full spectrum plant lights was a winning choice for us. Note for others: I need to water the plants more frequently than before. If you replace your existing bulbs with these, you should check them a day or two sooner than your previous watering schedule.
