Thimble rusted over after one use

Spent an afternoon on the hook and the line feels good, appears to be strong and perfect amount of shock absorption in swell. Got home that night and rinsed off the anchor and rode, came back to the boat to check everything a few days later. Unfortunately I discovered the thimble has rusted over, replacement ordered. I HOPE this was just one that slipped past QC for the galvanizing. Will update with pictures and how the second anchor line does.

Great Price For Thick Line

This was a great buy. Not sure where else you're going to find pre-spliced braided 1/2 inch anchor line at this price. Love the two-tone braid. Looks really nice with the new anchor & chain. Highly Recommended!

Not really teal in color.. More of a Navy blue

Good anchor line. If color is not important ... Its Blue not Teal at all

Ends Need to be Finished

For the price, I was happy with the anchor line. I will say that the delivery was horrible and the spool it came on was broken into pieces. Also, the ends of the line were not prepped for use. Make sure you finish the line properly before I’m using it or this will not last you a long time.

and the splice is perfect and professionally done

Line is high quality, and the splice is perfect and professionally done. The only negative is the lack of a stainless thimble. It is galvanized, and has rusted significantly after 1 year of use. It will probably have to be replaced and re-spliced next year or so.
