I have used Sealskinz socks for the last 13 years , A must Have for Disc Golfing in the Rain !

Not waterproof

I used this product for running, and after 3 miles my feet were completely soaked. Then the water was just sloshing around in the socks. It ruined my run.

Really works

I used socks in one day hike in very wet conditions, as my gortex boots doesnt water protect, these socks was doing its work. It was around zero degrees outside, I hiked around 4 hours. The boots very wet, but my feets was dry. It is ok till I dont stop and take them off, after taking them off it is not nice to put them back again becouse of the outside of sock is wet and it gets cold.

Für den gedachten Zweck Top, Qualität na ja

Ich verwende die Socken für den Laufsport mit 3 x Laufen in der Woche a 5 km auf All Terrain Untergrund mit Wasser, Schlamm, Wind, Schnee usw. je nach Witterung. Laufschuhe mit und ohne Gore Tex. Positiv: -fühlen sich in der Hand etwas seltsam an, aber an den Füßen ein sehr gute Tragegefühl -Größe M passt perfekt bei meiner Schuhgröße 42 - 42 3/4 -sind wie beschrieben Wasser- und Winddicht. -Einsatz bis jetzt bis ca. - 4° C auch hier ein gutes Gefühl -trocknen sehr schnell nach einem Regenlauf und ähnlichem -im Bereich der Füße/Schuhe bis jetzt nach ca. 150 km kein Verschleiß zu erkennen leider gibt es auch etwas negatives, was bei mir wohl kein Einzelfall ist und auch schon mit Bildern dargestellt wurde. Negativ: -nach nicht mal drei Monaten, hat sich die Saumnaht an einer Socke, oben an der Wade, komplett gelöst und das Innenteil mit dem Silikonrand bleibt nicht mehr dort wo es sein soll. Habe mir im Januar weitere Socken bestellt (vor dem aufgehen der Saumnaht) die ich in Gebrauch habe, hoffe das hier das Problem nicht auch noch auftritt. weiteres positives: -Rücknahme der Socken (Verkauf erfolgte über Amazon) und Ersatzlieferung ohne wenn und aber. Sollte das mit der Saumnaht ein Einzelfall gewesen sein, werde ich die Rezension überarbeiten, da der Rest einfach Top ist und die Socken wirklich zu empfehlen sind was die Eigenschaften sind.

Muy buenos para los que son ...5 grados para arriba

Perfectos!!lo he probado varías veces donde sin remedio tuve que meter el pie en charcos y con una temperatura de unos 5 grados van genial aunque merece la pena pillar talla más y poner algo debajo porque por debajo de los 5 grados el pie se queda frío...por otro lado decir que son gordos y pensados...si te meten con el calcetín en la cara te vas para otro barro seguro...

Just Splash proof. II I was wrong on my first impression

First Impression Tested it, and I got my feet wet, I filled a bucket of water and dumped my feet in. Immediately I started to get water in from the upper part of the socks. Sock was submerged not completely to the top where the water could break in through Hydrastop barrier. Im disappointed as I was sharing my new purchase with friends, but had totally failed. This socks are splashproff at the very Most, no way it can be labled 100% waterproof. Important edit: After the first day I was inspecting my socks, and I realized that there is top part of socks without the membrane, so I did another test. And yes 95% off the socks where the membrane Is, is 100% waterproof, but underneath the top band (lettering) there is a seam strip that doesnt have a membrane and is is leaking still. I also tested that pouring water from the top still causes the water getting in the socks. Overall I think that product is good, just needs to have product description note regarding upper part of the sock.

My feet got immersed and stayed dry. They feel funny at first and the upper leg seal rips my leg hair out but I don’t care because they work and are comfy My feet did not just sweat in them
