The house I purchased needed a pressure regulator installed due to the 100 psi main line water pressure. The incoming water line was PVC. I wanted a solution that was an easy installation. This pressure regulator has the sharkbite connection system. I purchased two sharkbite PVC adapters, cut two small pieces of copper pipe to connect the regulator to the PVC adapters, shut off the water, cut the PVC main line (it was in the crawl space under the house) and connected the assembly to the main line. I set the pressure on the regulator before I connected it to the water line - a great feature of this regulator. When I turned the water back on there were no leaks, and the water pressure exactly matched the setting on the regulator. The entire process took less than an hour and I couldn't be happier. There is no water hammering from this regulator. I have done a lot of plumbing around the house over the years. The sharkbite connections may cost a little more money than other solutions but the peace of mind of easy installation and no leaks is worth the money spent.

Regulated pressure for six months only

Installation and adjustment was simple. No fluttering noted as in other reviews. This unit was only effective about six months. When I turn on a faucet now, there is a rush of high pressure initially then a gradual reduction in flow to the pressure i set during installation. I do not recommend.

Very simple to use. It’s really nice pressure regulator.

Like the numbers on the dial. Use in my new water filtration system I installed it has a pressure max of 75 lbs got mine set on 70 lbs and all my gages show 70 lbs.

Easy installation onto 3/4" pex pipe - no noise

Needed to reduce the water supply pressure into my house from 80+ psi. Easy installation onto 3/4" pex pipe - no noise, no leaks, seems to be working well.
