Works really well ????
Used on my metal roof project. Everything went well for the most part... but it's primary use is for masonry work.

Came damaged, hard to use
Came in, and when we went to use it, not only was it super hard to get out with a manual caulk gun (mechanical would be better for this), it started leaking out the edge of the nozzle so it was either too dried out or thick and had minor ship damage. Couldn't get enough out to be able to tell how well it worked

Best alternative 2 using concrete!!
This product forms a very strong adhesive bond as long as U follow the instructions, don’t rush the drying & allow it 2 Seth. We used it 2 build a cinder block wall & stone steps

Would not buy again
Product was old and not workable as an adhesive. Too hard coming out of the tub (even after heating slightly) and I had to throw away 2/3 of the tub.

Get out your big caulking gun and figure out creative uses for this construction adhesive
I ordered this SikaBond construction adhesive to check out how it would work on a a big build I am doing on 60 wooden arches, including four exposed to weather. Even before getting to that glue-up in a day or so, I noticed that this was recommended for concrete and mortar repair, so I tried it on a deck block with a broken off piece. It looks like once the cure is complete, this will be a sturdy and not noticeable repair. Next, I used it for some arch glueups. This adhesive is REALLY sticky and held the OSB blocks in place while I get ready to add framing nails and screws. It has a bit of "body" to it as well, which slightly complicated keeping the plies of OSB together as closely as when I apply roll-on premium glue. It cures rather slowly but that's not a problem given all the fasteners in these arches. Given that it is waterproof and polyurethane adhesives seem to be OK for rubber, I tried it on some patches for my favorite mules that are expensive to replace. The adhesive seems nice and gummy, and like it will cure satisfactorily, possibly more so than the shoe adhesives and contact cements I have used in the past. The edges may be slightly curled up, but I can try some instant glue there. UPDATE: The patches fell off when I walked on the mules, but the adhesive pattern on the patches was interesting -- super smooth. Just be sure to buy or borrow a large 28-ounce caulking gun to go with this adhesive. Review of SikaBond Construction Adhesive, Gray, Advanced polyurethane for outdoor. Works for Me
This polyurethane adhesive is not your average homeowner’s choice, but it should be. Comparing other so called tough adhesives I have used, it seems I have been using bubble gum. I build wall water fountains. I decided I did not like one part the way I put it so I went to rip it off and make my changes. It was just about an hour after placement and I had issues. It was not coming off. I had to actually cut through the section then use a heat gun, solvents and a power sander to remove the adhesive. All the other stuff I used over the years it may have been a little tough, but I had six or more hours to tug it apart. I have not even bothered testing the strength after my troubles the day before. This stuff is strong, really strong. I also have to say that application is really easy and quick. The power of this stuff is awesome. The only thing people need to know about this is it is real professional grade. If you have even seen professionals, they pull out the big guns and that is what you will need for this tube. A really large caulking gun is required. Still, once you use this product, you will not be going back to Walmart sized silicone caulking.

I will be looking for Sikabond from now on!
I am not a professional but I certainly have enough jobs done (or in progress) to have developed quite a resume of failures and successes. The opportunity to test this brand (new to me) could not have come at a better time. I had to disassemble and reconstruct a stone retaining wall for our 2 tier garden. I had exactly 58 stones at 4" H x 8" W x 8" D. Each stone got a generous bead of adhesive and was set in place. I left the stone work over night and checked it the next morning, the whole structure had solidified into one solid wall. I was so impressed I tried very hard to separate the last stone in the end (trying to mimic the force of ice that damaged it in the first place) and it just wouldn't let go. Prying it with a small pry bar, actually started to damage the stone but still no seperation. I was blown away. It is worth noting that once cured, this adhesive is unaffected by water, making outdoor applications perfectly suited. This massive tube (a little more than twice the size of a standard tube) requires a much larger gun which I borrowed from a contractor friend. After I returned his gun, he asked me what I was doing to have needed that size and when I told him, he asked me what brand? I told him Sikabond and heshared with me that it was the brand that many pros use. The list of applications and materials that it can be used for is quite extensive. Stone work and carpentry seem to be at the top of that list. I loved working with it and I equally love the results! For serious strength, I will be reaching for this, from now on. HIGHLY recommended!

Uses a large caulking gun, not the small ones.
So first thing to know is that this is a professional sized tube of construction adhesive, its not going to fit inside your traditional silicone caulking gun you have at home. I work construction, commercial building and most guys who want to get the job done right are using this. Apart from that this is a fantastic construction adhesive, which I've been using for a while now and have had better results using this sikabond than pl premium. I do find that that concrete adhesion is greatly improved compared to PL and wood is also much stronger. Chances are your going to split the wood before you break adhesive. It is submersible after its cured, its also fast cure which is nice for those who need it done fast. It is more flexible than PL but thats one of the reason many commercial guys use this. Flexible means the wall framing absorbs vibrations and thus makes the walls transmit less from sounds to the other side. Overall its a great adhesive, once you use it you wont go back to other brands.

Excellent construction adhesive!
First of all, this is larger than the usual consumer size so you'll need a larger dispensing cartridge/cage. I use this adhesive primarily for outdoor wet or damp applications. Just note that it must cure fully prior to being subjected to dampness. I've also used it on brick retraining walls with success and in renovating a shed. It has great holding power on pretty much anything. I've also used it on rigid insulation successfully as well. I've grown to trust pretty much anything with a Sika name on it and none of their products have let me down. Being a home handyman, I'm always needing some kind of adhesive or sealant sooner or later and I like to not have to redo something because of poor performance. The choices for cheap alternatives are plenty but it's usually a false saving. Spend a bit more and get a lot more is what I try to achieve.

Works very well.
This is like two regular sizes in one. Perfect if you have to use it for large applications. So you would need a bigger caulking gun. The adhesive is very good. It is grey in color. Even when it cures, the adhesive is very flexible and doesn’t become hard and crack away. I am using this to fill in gaps in brick and also a concrete edging between the foundation and the driveway. For smaller application it is best to go for the 300 mL tube as there is no proper way of storing it once its open. You could keep it for a few days but I am not sure if it is good after that. This adhesive is water proof so it keeps the moisture especially for most outdoor applications
