Stylish simple superb!

Elegant! Light filtering which I don’t mind. Very easy to maneuver. Easy to install. Ethnic but adds a modern touch.

Unit #1: Poor packing, install instructions, and details; poor customer service; Unit #2: PERFECT

Review of Achim Driftwood Cordless Bamboo Roll Up Window Blinds 36" x 72" Bottom Line: If you have no problems with the product or installation, and are happy with 50% "see through", it seems to be a nice blind. If you need to contact Achim you may be very disappointed. Unit #1: 1) The shade arrived double boxed (good), however one end of the blind was off its bracket. As a result, one side bracket was slightly bent which required complete disassembly to repair. This and my next HOUR of repair time could have been avoided by the manufacturer with a simple plastic band/strap (ten cents) placed end-to-end on the blind to prevent the unit from coming apart! On one end, the screws were also loose from assembly (not from shipping). 2) The instructions will challenge even a technician. Proper grammar and punctuation, but very confusing, insufficient detail. 3) The design allows mounting holes to be a maximum of 32 inches apart. This is not stated anywhere. Make sure your mounting surfaces will allow for that. The actual width of the bracket is 36", but the shade itself is only 34.5" wide. 4) This blind is not shown on Achimonline.com, which seemed odd to me, so I called Achim to inquire if it was discontinued. I made 12 calls total, finding it next to impossible to actually speak to anyone, let alone offer help. When I WAS able to contact Achim Customer Service I asked if this blind was no longer available (since it was not on their website). The rep told me she did not recognize that name. Later she indicated their website only shows that blind for their customers, and that those customers have a login to see it. I said I was a customer. She indicated I was not, but rather, I was a customer of Amazon. I indicated that Achim Home Furnishings themselves sold it through Amazon. I found it AMAZING that they didn't recognize the concept of who their own customers really are. I was NOT impressed. Eventually someone else at Achim answered my call and was to pass along my info and request for someone with DETAILED knowledge of this product's design to contact me (I wanted to fix the blind). I was promised a phone call. Instead, I received an email with a link to a YouTube installation video (NOT what I asked for or needed). I installed the blind. The online pictures do NOT represent the amount of light that comes through. About 50% of the window scene is viewable through the blind (I'm good with that, but the online images show total obscurity). The right side knob to adjust the blind's stop position no longer functions (as a result of the damage). Unit #2: Arrived by USPS in good condition. Blind worked perfectly. This blind was a replacement for the first unit I had returned through Amazon. Unit #3: Since the replacement worked perfectly, I ordered my third blind today.

Perfect color and quality for the money.

These were the perfect blinds for our lake house! The color is great for browns or grays. I used them throughout the whole house.
