What a great invention!
We change our dogs' collars for holidays, and it is always a pain switching their tags from one collar to another. With this handy device, you simply attach the tags to the lower half of the clip, and user the upper lip to attach them to the new collar. My only complaint is that the color wears off, so while it's a lovely deep blue or purple when they start off, they are "antiqued" in a few months.

Love these tag clips!
Makes changing tags from one collar to another a breeze. I use theirs clip on my work dog’s tags and it has made switching collars much easier. Had to buy more for my other dogs and to replace the one I have been using for 3 years due to it wearing out because of the swinging motion of the tags. I highly recommend using the smallest clip so that your dog’s tags don’t hang too low or whack them in the ears when they shake off water.

A must-have!
I love these! I personally have three Rubits and have good friends who use them as well. I raise puppies to be guide dogs, so I am often changing collars as the puppy grows. I also tend to change collars for different styles or when one needs washing. This makes it so simple to move the tags from one collar to the next (and saves my fingernails). They've held up to my dogs running through bushes, swimming, rough-housing and being chewed/grabbed inadvertently. On one occasion, the spring "lock" one of my Rubits came loose, but has not done so since I put it back together and tightened in with a pair of pliers. I have had 2 of the Rubits (in constant use) for about 3 years now and other than some edge wear on the colored one, they are both holding up wonderfully. I have all large breed dogs, and I recommend the size small despite Rubit's own recommendations. Other reviews have noted that the small is too small and hard to clip (or unclip), but I have not had a problem attaching it to large collars with thicker D-rings. That being said, I do have slim fingers, so maybe that helps. I purchased one medium before I'd seen the product in person and use it on my 80lb dog. The larger the Rubit, the farther the tags hang down, so I very much prefer the small.

Exactly What I Needed
I needed this so I could easily change harnesses for my small dog without having to get the pliers to change her ID and Rabies tags. Perfect!

Great product
Love them! I've had such a hard time finding small enough clips in stores. My dogs are very small and everything hangs too low on them. These do not! The split rings they came with were very flimsy and I wouldn't trust them to hold a tag (which is why I didn't give 5 starts), so I bought my own very small ones (made for jewelry) which I would have used instead anyway because I don't want the tags hanging too low on my little dogs. The actual clip itself is very strong and works great. Color is true to the picture. I have no trouble getting them on and off my dogs collars. I would not use the small size on regular or larger sized dog collars. They wouldn't fit the D-rings very well. They are very small. I recommend them only for 3/4-1 1/2 inch collars. I bought two! They arrived within two days, however the packaging was odd. They came in separate packages for some reason. One came in an envelope and one came in a box. But I'm glad they arrived quickly and on the same day. I'm going to buy another one for my keys :p

EASY & EFFECTIVE
This is the best solution for being able to easily attach / remove dog tags AND actually keep them. I’ve used tgis product for years, never once lost a tag. When the vendors were out I bought the competition and promptly lost tags, twice! Teach me! Now I refuse anything but these! They are the best, hands down. :)

Very happy with this purchase, it feels like a great quality, and is nice and tiny so the tags don't hang too low.
I purchased this because I have so many nice collars, but only one that I can take the pup out regularly on because it has all of her tags and I find when I try to move them from one collar to another it compromises the strength of the ring that the tags are on. I was happy when I saw this because it means I can finally start clipping her tags from one collar to another depending upon where we're going. Her main tough heavy duty dog park collar is getting pretty worn down and I took the tags from it, and tried them on the clip. Unfortunately it just BARELY won't close around the big ring from this collar - all the other collars it fits just fine except this big one. I find the quality is great, and I really like the idea and the fact it won't close around her park collar doesn't really bother me that much because that's the collar she plays rough and tumble in anyways so I'll just keep the clip on my key ring for that time. Very happy with this purchase, it feels like a great quality, and is nice and tiny so the tags don't hang too low. I've included in the pictures so you can get a feeling for what I'm talking about.

Was ready to give 5 stars...
I bought five of these to use on the collars and harnesses of my Yorkshire Terrier. The two on the Collars seem to be fine, however on the harness the spring popped out on two of them. I am not sure it is because he might lay on them and the spring pops or they were just defective, anyway not using them on harness which is what he wears most often. I was gong to leave a message with the seller but that option is no longer available. Disappointed because I can no longer trust them.

Spring is nice and tight
Was looking for a carabiner type of fastener to transfer my dog's tags from collar to collar. Most were too big and hung the tags really low. This one is nice and small. Was worried the clip would easily open and the tags fall off, but the spring has pretty decent tension. Bought back in Sept 2020 and have had no issues. Would definitely buy again.

Great product but a bit expensive for its size.
I have been looking for something that keeps my dog's tag facing the way I want them for a long time, since most collars have their hoop attached vertically, tags usually hang off at a slant. I had no idea what to expect from this purchase but when I received it, I found the size to be perfect. Its a lot smaller than it seems in the image so it does not add a lot of length to the dog tag so there is no need to worry if the tag will hang too low or hit the ground. I have it on my 3 months old puppy that weighs 6.5kg and it still hangs at a reasonable height. The only issue I have with it is that although $6 does not seem like a lot, when you consider the size of the product you would think it is a bit overpriced.
