Horrible cover cheap and poor quality

I have a little blue diamonds all over in the pool, the seam is coming apart. You touch it and it just feels like it’s going to disintegrate in your hand. Supposed to be heavy duty none of my covers have ever done this they all last at least 2 to 3 years so I thought I’d try the heavy duty one so besides being heavier and harder to roll up it is poor quality

Seems durable

Anyone with a pool knows these covers don't last forever. This one seems nice and durable and is a bit heavier than my previous cover. Doesn't effect reel use at all despite being heavier & looks to be the best one I have bought so far.

Helps hold the heat

It’s a very nice pool cover. It’s a little bulky when you remove it from the pool. I bought a roller to roll it up which so far is working well. We put it on to hold the heat overnight.

disintegrated within months

Pool-Mate Delux Solar Blanket, used on an in-ground pool on Tucson, AZ: installed in January, 2020, the solar blanket has disintegrated in less than 6 months leaving little diamond-shaped bits of plastic floating in the pool, clogging the skimmers and pump. Prior to the diamond bits coming off the silver and blue layers separated completely in many places. Because the separation and disintegration are not uniform across the blanket I think that some of it was built with older materials. In a word: Junk. Recommendation: Do not buy.
