Fades and stretches out VERY quickly

I love this swimsuit - I do laps every day. The problem is that the suit fades VERY quickly - within 3 weeks as well as stretching out. For the money it costs and for the Speedo name, you think they could do better. Purchase a TYR or Lands End Chlorine Resistant suit instead.

Perfect fit!

This speedo has slightly more coverage on the top front and is roomier than the last one I bought. I wear it every weekend under my wetsuit when I surf!

great suit for water aerobics and lap swimming

This is a great suit. I have had it for about 2 months and use it at least twice a week for water aerobics and lap swimming. Very comfortable and I think it will last a long time - I usually buy less expensive suits but find that they do not stand up to almost daily use. I spend at least 1 hour in the pool every day of the week and lesser suits just disintegrate. this one seems to be holding up well. It is not the most attractive suit and the black color is boring. If I were to suggest any improvements it would be to offer in more colors and to raise the legs just a bit. I would like it better as a moderate cut vs. conservative - but that is just me. LOVE the back and love the material!

Good Fit.

I have recently started swimming for exercise... just the last year and a half. I went through 2 lovely swimsuits... not because of fading from the chlorine, but because the suit had stretched so much from use. They were higher end suits from good manufactures. My sister gave me a Speedo she picked up at a garage sale, last summer, that I thought I would never wear. I tried it on just to tied me over as I searched for another suit. This one fit better, and worked well in the water, it was just too colorful for me! I also thought it would never fit, as it was a 12 and I usually bought larger for my bust size, though I wear an 8 in pants, usually I need much larger in dresses and tops. But the 12 fit well. So I ordered a 12 in black and just got it last week. It feels a little tight as it its brand-new.... but it looks great! I am very pleased with the suit, it fits like a glove and makes me look better than I ever expected!

Great fit for me, quickly fades

Fit is always a concern. Fit for me says nothing about fit for you. Here's what you may want to know. I swim in a chlorinated pool. I swim two, maybe three times a week for about an hour each time. After six weeks the fade was so strong I had to buy another suit. I wear a vest to help me exercise. There was no discoloration under the vest so the fade pattern started to look funky and inappropriate. What do you learn? I bought this bathing suit, it quickly fades in chlorinated water with some use, and six weeks later when I had to buy a replacement suit I bought this same one again. I'm open to suggestion on what else to do or what else to look for. Your mileage may vary.

What is "true to size"?

description says "true to size, order usual size". This is too vague, unclear. I own 2 other speedos - one is a 6, the other is a 10. There's really no such thing as true to size as it depends on the style. In this case, I would say order the larger.

Excellent Swimsuit! Excellent fit! I'm so happy!

A great modest cut for women who want to be a little more discreet. The suit is comfortable and does not irritate the skin after many laps in the pool. I made sure to take my measurements (honestly) before I ordered. I am not at all disappointed!

Where are the colours?

Why only black?! This suit is great for swimming, but I would like a brighter colour, or even a pattern that shows sharks that I am not related to seals and such. Apparently sharks are not attractive to sharks!
