Perfect fit

I think volcom purchased Spyder. Could be wrong. Been wearing spyder since I was a Kid. It still looks and feels great. I wanted a little bigger fit for my pants. I feel like it’s nice to have a loose fit with ski boots. Went with the XXL. Couldn’t be more happier. This is my 2nd pair I purchased through Amazon. You can’t beat the price. They have a thin layer of insulation compared to the gore Tex. You can certainly tell the difference in the 2 pairs. Why I needed a 2nd pair for the colder days. I would get these pants while they still have them in stock. They will tear like any ski pant when using skis. They will last even longer if you waterproof them with DWR or gore Tex spray. The colors are legit. Good to have bright colors on the mountains.

Warm, well-made snow pants

These well-made snow pants have good waterproofing and are insulated. There are internal elastic gaiters at the leg openings, and the waist can be adjusted to get a snug fit to make sure no chance of snow getting inside. Work best when worn directly over thermal/long underwear and without jeans. The fit is reasonably athletic -- not baggy but not tight-fitting either. Somewhat expensive for what they are at list price of $149, but they are a good deal if you can find a discounted pair for around $100 or less. Lots of great color choices!

Seat Ripped After 2 Hours

I usually wear a size 33-34" waist with a 32" inseam, so I ordered the "medium" size here and they fit perfectly. Perhaps a bit looser than I'd like (I prefer a slimmer profile) but they were not baggy nor too tight. They are slightly insulated and I was comfortable wearing only two thermal baselayers underneath these pants in 20-25°F sunny weather. The exterior fabric is noticeably delicate. It just feels like it wasn't made to be very durable. I skied in these for 2 hours, and when I took them off I noticed a 2-3" tear right down the middle of the seat. I'm very surprised these tore so easily and so quickly because I was not doing anything extreme and they were a perfect fit--perhaps a bit loose if anything. Still they ripped after 2 hours of casual skiing. This was the first and only time I wore them. I don't believe I can get a refund since they've been worn.

Pants are awesome, I stayed dry and they kept me warm and fit great ! Highly recommend , couldn’t imagine a bad review

Soft material that is well insulated

Looks very warm and not ridged, able to move in it freely. I would suggest spraying it with a water protection product, to make sure water does not obsorbe.
