Wrong size, was able to still use them.

I got the wrong size poles although I was still able to use them with a couple of my broken poles. Worked well.

Sturdy, only issue is the 2 poles do not fit together without finding some type of adaptor.

Sturdy, reasonably light, durable, but, the 2 pools don't connect unless I can find an adaptor.

Saved My Tent

On a recent camping trip, a tent pole section broke on my 10+ year old 3 person dome tent. Two Other sections failed when I rechecked the poles later. I ordered these poles in hopes of salvaging a usable tent. My original tent poles measured 183 inches. These poles worked without any cutting, even though the advertised length is longer. I can’t comment on longer term durability, but I’m happy with the purchase. Does include two poles, as other reviewers have mentioned.

Tent pole replacement

Was the length I needed. Thicker than the original. Used twice with no problems. The sections are about 12 inches long, so there are alot of them and the do tend to get stuck when pushing through the tent fabric.

That's not cool.

The description is a bit mis-leading... Each order comes with a set of TWO poles, which is what you need if your son loses both poles on a Boy Scout camp out. However, the description leads you to believe there is only ONE pole, so I ordered 2 and now I have to return one and eat the $6-$7 return charge. That's not cool.

Was the perfect solution for a fix on my camping tent that I needed immediately for a vacation. Performed that exceeded my expectations.

good quality, easy to shorten to required length

Used these to replace an arched pole across the front of my old tent. The product was too long (better than being too short) so I simply shortened by two sections and cut the cord to required length. easily done, good quality, better than original equipment, showed up on time, all as promised. I recommend this product. gave 4 stars rather than 5 due to price. starts at $27, ends at $40 by the time you add tax and shipping, which I think is way too much for two tent poles.

item broken

Elastic/shock cord already broken when I opened to set up my tent. Also the posts are short, half the size of an average tent pole.

they are a little light for heavy loads like awnings but good for the price

Arrived damaged

The poles were not packaged well and one arrived damaged. The metal ferrules were flattened and could not be opened to a perfect circle to accept the fiberglass pole. The surviving pole worked well.
