Great bag

The number of compartments is awesome. The laptop slides out easily at the airport without having to unzip completely. Could use it as a luggage for a 1-day trip. So roomy. It’s been 10 months since purchase. It’s worked great as an everyday bag.

Swiss Gear is durability you can trust.

Honestly I can’t say enough about this bag. I’m a Swiss Gear devotee because these bags last years and years! Unlike most messenger bags, this one can be packed to capacity and the strap won’t snap on you without warning. Up to 3 medium hardback textbooks and a laptop fit easily and comfortably to carry. Even big guys can fit it over the chest, which I didn’t expect. Any Swiss Gear purchase is as close to a sure thing as you get and this is no exception.

It was in good condition. However

Item came on time but was unusually wrapped up. It was in good condition. However, it seemed like it was second hand possibly as the tags looked like they were a bit worn on it. Maybe someone bought it and intended to use it and then just never did. The item has been very useful rather than care some unusual carriers around this is a bit easier. It does fit my laptop but if unless you are going to go through security at the airport or courthouse slip the laptop in the back zipper which can be slid through the side. Do not use the wrap around zipper in the back... There is no velcro strap to hold the laptop in anywhere so if you forget and pickup the bag and the zipper is NOT shut then it could be you have a broken laptop on the floor. Have to be very careful with that. If you want to put Mouse Pad and power cord and Mouse in the back area with the full length underneath zipper that might be ok. Just not worth a broken laptop in my opinion. They really should have had it where the zipper came over the top instead of the bottom so all you have to do is zip it open show it to TSA and then go on to the Gates. Need a slight re-design on this one but as well a very nice useful Attache` Case - which is what I needed for law school.

TSA friendly, but awkward.

Checkpoint friendly is a nice option. However the end load is quite awkward for everyday usage.

Tough, Spacious,

Very nice bag, I use it on my daily commute to school. Pros Carries two text books, laptop, chargers, and notebooks, with plenty of space to spare. Feels very together, made out of nice thick material. The strap is connected by two pretty heavy duty hooks, so it can be taken off easily if desired. It has 5 pockets or pouches including the one on the front flap, as well as some internal meshing to store smaller items. It is also pretty water-proof. I walked about a mile through heavy rain-fall, and while the outside of the bag was pretty saturated, everything inside was perfectly dry. Cons The first 2 pockets have zippers that zip all the way down the side (I guess to make it easier to fit large items in), I find them a bit cumbersome, which results in me rarely using them. All in all a very solid bag at a good price point, the main reason I purchased this is because I was getting tired of typical cloths bags ripping, or coming loose do to flimsy stitching/seams, I don't expect this to ever rip...

No tiene protección en la base de la bolsa.

Devolví este artículo porque la bolsa no tiene protección en la base, que me parece muy importante al momento de llevar tus equipos, no tenia ninguna esponja que pueda amortiguar alguna caida accidental y creo que para eso buscamos una buena bolsa o mochila, para que nuestra laptop esté mucho más segura. No la recomiendo. El material es de muy buena calidad, me gustó mucho, solo que el hecho de que no tuviera protección en la base me hizo devolverla inmediatamente.

Creo que la parte frontal no es practica, tiene un compatimento bastante grande que hay que levantar para acceder a la zona de lapiceros y es bastante estorboso , creo esa funda esta de mas
