Cracked and scuffed

Ball appears to be of good quality and is soft like it says. Have not used it yet. It did however already have some cracks in the rubber and a scuff mark when I took it out of the bag and blew it up.

Came blown up ,I think.i had 2 buy 2 from 2 dif companies

They were both real strong ,same brand, really tough..it had the hook at the end and a long string to it .It holds air pretty good..I had brought one and I was like wow ,so I wanted another one and that one came from Walmart I think and that one was pre deflated but Amazon's was perfect.

Excellent

Time will tell how well this ball will hold up in the sun, which is hard on almost all materials. But after receiving it, I'm completely happy. Ball feels to be of excellent quality, thick enough walls, sturdy rope and solid connection from rope to ball. The top clip could be a a little bigger and stronger, but it may be adequate to the job. It came deflated as expected. I inserted a wetted inflation needle into the inflation port and just let it self inflate. It did so. Then, using mouth/lung power only I added a bit of pressure to the ball and quickly pulled out the needle. Perfect. Firm, ready for play, and quite soft and easy on kids' hands. You literally do not need a pump for this. Just a needle. They should include one. Cheap way to make people happy. Cheers.

You CAN beat this one.

I just reattached our ball to the rope after it broke (for about the fourth time). We noted that the rope is getting a little short, so I came here and searched for tetherball/rope. This item came up, and noted that I had purchased this same item in 2017. FIVE YEARS, my friends. We have three middle-grade kiddos (and their fiends) who beat this thing to death — sometimes they use bats! It sits in sun and rain. This is how it looks after all that. I’d say it has been a good value.

dogs love it, but some assembly required

I purchased this for my Australian Shepherds to play with....and they really have a ball with it (pun intended). My only two gripes are: 1) it was shipped fully deflated in a shipping envelope. I suppose it is assumed that everyone has means to inflate this? No special tool requirements or assembly were mentioned in the description. Not a huge deal because I have a compressor but it would have been nice to know. 2) the needle needed to inflate the ball was not included. I'm middle age with no kids so it would not be common for me to have these inflation needles just laying around the house to inflate balls. Had I known that this would have shipped deflated, I would have looked elsewhere. The fact that the needle required to inflate the ball was not included with the purchase is the reason I knocked a star off of the rating.

Well made

Great ball have used it a few summers and it stands up well. Do bring it inside to store over the winter.

Good ball but could use some uv resistance.

This is a nice and soft rubber and we use it a lot... we bring it in for the winter but even then the uv started to crack the ball... really only good for 2-3 seasons. Still one of the best balls out there.

Don’t weather well, but the soft exterior is good when new

I guess now I know the real reason that schools bring these back inside at the end of lunch every day. They deteriorate quickly in the sun. But that’s the price you pay for them being softer on the exterior, so I guess it’s worth it.

I would recommend getting this product.

The ball itself looks like it's really good quality but it's winter here now so we cannot try it out.
