Functional, with features normally unheard of in plus size clothing!

It is virtually impossible to find functional clothing in plus sizes for "niche" applications. The Terramar long underwear top fits the bill. I can't comment on its warmth because I haven't had weather cold enough to put it to the test but it fits well and seems well made. Features like the thumb holes and a somewhat technical fabric that will wick sweat rather than becoming waterlogged and useless as an insulator (like the scads of cotton long underwear you find) are nice touches that are really rare. I suppose no one thinks that a fat woman might actually go out and do active things in her long underwear but it has been known to happen. I also like that the smooth hand of the fabric doesn't bunch up and pull due to friction with your outer layers.

I love this base layer!

Perfect warm and cozy fit. Love the thumb holes so it doesn't bunch up when you layer it. I've washed it several times and hung it dry, even though the care instructions say you can dry it. I really couldn't be happier with this!

In the picture, this top looks loose on the model. I tried both a 1X, which should have been way too big by the size chart, and it was still really, really tight. I think a 2X would be to large in the chest and arms though. Returned.

Bought this for my girlfriend. She wore this shirt in Mammoth and never complained about be cold actually complained about being too warm. Which is a good thing. The shirt fit her perfect for being above average in size
